Delicious lobster rolls, sumai, and tempura fried cheese cake… I eat it very often.

This was the worst sushi I have ever had. The rice was hot. There was no flavor at all. And the rice had a strange texture.

I wanted to try a different sushi restaurant in the area so that I could find out what different types/tastes of sushi I might like. I really enjoy Jay's 108 there in Kinston. This is a restaurant I can go without. The ingredients were not fresh just based off of texture alone.. Taste.. That's a whole different story. I didn't feel welcomed honestly from lack of greeting and conversation. The only thing I did enjoy was the design/art on the walls. I love feeling immersed in different cultures. I'm afraid to finish the food due to it not being fresh.. The woman I who assisted me insisted in a annoyed fashion that she had put chopsticks in the bag when I came back inside for them but there wasn't any anywhere in the bag nor were there napkins. I've always wondered why this place looks so faded out and abandoned.. I see why now. I had the dynamite and eel avocado roll.

First ever experience with my 7 yr old granddaughter, we ordered sushi and was not disappointed. Im very particular about where i eat sushi and by far hands down some of the best ive ever had!! And they were very surprised that my granddaughter wanted sushi at all! Very polite and made fresh too!! Will be going back again!

I found several bones in my order of smoked salmon sashimi. A couple longer ones were actually visibly sticking out of the sashimi. I called to let them know this because fish bones are a choking hazard that can really mess up your esophagus, stomach, organs, hell they're SHARP. It's dangerous. The woman I spoke to on the phone just immediately said, "Oh that was the company. The company did that." So evidently they don't do the most basic quality checks on your food. Good to know. I used to eat here a lot, but no longer. I'll play extra for Jay's 108.

I love sneaking off to this place by myself. All the food I've tried is very good. My favorite it the gyoza soup and I add noodles to it. And the Tampora shrimp roll with cream cheese. Can't never go wrong when eating here.

I ordered the hibachi seafood plate and was disappointed with what it looked like. It was not cooked in the traditional style of hibachi that I am accustomed to, and everything was separated. I'm not sure what kind of fish it was, but it was definitely not salmon. I was told they are known for the sushi. If I return, it will be to try the sushi, definitely not the hibachi. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

DONT EAT AT THIS RACIST RESTAURANT! I TOLD THE COOK THAT I DIDNT ENJOY THE LION KING ROLL AND SHE STOOD ME UP AND DOWN TELLING ME THAT IT WASNT HER Problem! SHE IS VERY CONFRONTATIONAL AND RUDE. LUCKY THE YOUNG MAN TOOK THE ROLL OFF MY TAB .. AND I WILL BE CALLING CORPORATE.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Last week I went to this place and ate in with another co worker. My co worker left the tip on her card. I signed my receipt and put zero on the tip section so it couldn’t be altered. I checked my bank account and they automatically added another tip to my card. I called back furious and she lied like it was a dine in service charge. I told her she never told me that and my co worker was not charged this “service charge”. She altered my ticket that I signed. I guess she thought she was going to get her another tip. I demanded my $5 back and she proceeds to say I would have to come back to the store with my card. Like I told her, her first mistake was stealing from me because I didn’t authorize that tip and now it’s another inconvenience because I have to go by the store. This place will never have to worry about me again. Next time she will be going to jail like I told her on the phone. She got some nerve changing my receipt. Beware if you use you card at this restaurant!!!

Oh wow.. I’m not too sure where to begin. We walk in, and we weren’t greeted.. we kind of wandered until we just sat down. After a few minutes what we’re assuming is the chef walks over, and we went to order a domestic beer… he was repeating himself but we couldn’t understand a word. He sends another person over and she gets out that they only have Japanese beer… okay no big deal. We were ordering sushi and their was clearly a communication problem the entire time. She couldn’t understand us and we couldn’t understand her. Again, not the biggest deal.. but the food… oh my gosh.. it was repulsive. The “steak” in the habachi didn’t even taste or feel like steak,, the portions were absolutely tiny… and the sushi was mediocre. And the prices… it was like paying for a Prada and getting a Walmart special.. NEVER AGAIN.

I was craving Japanese food, and I ran across Tokyo House on Google. I ordered the steak & chicken hibachi with all vegetables, no rice. It was an absolute waste of money and time. You don’t get near enough food for the cost, the chicken is more like Chinese chicken (I dislike Chinese food), the steak definitely didn’t taste anything like beef. I was scared of becoming sick after eating that so I only ate the vegetables. Also as I was walking out the door I noticed the low sanitation grade. Do yourself a favor and do not go here, it’s not worth it.
