Small town bakery with a BIG heart for homemade sweets. It’s a bakery like your Grandma’s kitchen.

A guilty pleasure..the smell of the place alone speaks for itself... The staffs as sweet as the fresh doughnuts (which btw are?)

Charming shop with fresh coffee, tasty sweets and friendly service. I'm disappointed there is not a wheelchair accessible entrance from the front of the building.

Kid-friendliness: Kids would enjoy fresh made doughnuts and sweet treats.

5-4-24They frequent the Farm Credit Farmers Market market in Goldsboro (we do too), and we finally decided to give them a shot since we have walked by them numerous times. Don't make the mistake of waiting to try like we did.We bought the following:Cheese biscuits (4/$5): Heaven. Moist and cheesy goodness.Glazed doughnut holes ( dozen for $2.50): Light with a perfect glaze. Krispy Kreme has nothing on these.Chocolate chip cookies ($1 each): The consistency on these is a perfect mix of softness with a slight crisp. It is noticeable and outstanding. Sweet and perfect. These were some of the best chocolate chip cookies I can remember tasting. Wow.Turtle cookies ($1 each): Same consistency as mentioned but with the pecans. Excellent. We really enjoyed what we sampled. While we caught them at a farmers market in Goldsboro, they have their store in La Grange, and it is worth a trip to get some sweet treats. We also found prices fair per each item.Do it. No hesitation.
