Appalachia at the Lodge on Lake Lure has become our favorite restaurant in Lake Lure! The menu, the service and the ambiance are all quite special. The Chef prepares some amazing dishes...everything, to my knowledge, is made from scratch with creativity and care. We look forward to our next time dining out!

This is the best restaurant in western NC. Superb service. Lisa and her team never disappoint. Outstanding food. Kudos to Chef Tyler and his team. From the amuse bouche to the dessert, explosions of flavor. Mixologist at bar was phenomenal. Cheers to Lauren. We've eaten at Michelin starred restaurants in NYC and this wonderful gem is a fierce competitor. Magnificent views of our beloved Lake Lure. Another wonderful evening at Appalachian!

It was our anniversary celebration. Hubby had his Gin and tonic to start, the Chef sent us a complimentary appetizer of tortellini. I started off with a lemoncello Martini. Main course for hubby was the Prime Rib and I opted for the Scallops and grits. Both meals were superb. The sauces on both were excellent. The asparagus was cooked to perfection. The evening was a success in providing excellent service and top shelf meals in a charming atmosphere overlooking our still beautiful...
