Wish I could give them a million stars. When Lake House Restaurant messed up my wedding rehearsal dinner . We came here and they took my party of 30 ppl. They were great to accommodate us all. The food and service was great!!! They went beyond and above to make our night special. And now when we take trips to Chimney Rock we will make sure to give them our business. This is a great place to eat !!!

After another local Lake restaurant messed up our wedding rehearsal dinner reservation for 30 ish people, we went to El Lago, who gladly seated all of us and saved the day! It wasn't easy for them to take 30 people unannounced but they did it and the service was fantastic. Food and prices were great as well. Thank you El Lago for stepping up where others dropped the ball. You have earned customers for life!

We went to this restaurant twice and they overcharged both times when my friend got her credit card bill. I called and had to call back three times to try to get it resolved. Finally talked to someone that said they were sending a check because they couldn’t figure out how to put it back on the card, which never came and now won’t return a call. Such a terrible experience.

Casual Mexican restaurant in Lake Lure. Lots of menu options. The margaritas were pricey at $13 each and I think a mix so maybe go with a beer or just a shot of tequila instead. We did enjoy the food though. It came out quick, was hot and tasty. Liked the chips and various salsa's available. Tried a variety of tacos plus spinach and cheese quesadillas. You'll find something to like. It's a great location across from the lake.
