I will never forget the first time we stayed here. Terry was extremely kind and his partner Mo brought some quality snacks to our door for our dogs that they enjoyed tremendously. The people I’ve met in this community are A+ and I can’t imagine the devastation you are all going through. Please know you are being thought of all over and we’re sending our love from Raleigh. I'm sure this place is probably gone due to the flooding. Went here as a child in the 60's and 70's and had some great memories. Went a few years ago some 50 years later and it was not as I remembered.

We had an event where a group of my friends booked a couple hotel rooms to stay closeby for it--and hurricane helene slammed us and cancelled the event. This place won't even let them get a refund for the event cancelling due to a HURRICANE! There are videos all over FB of people driving through Rivers and grocery stores being flooded and these guys are just like 'tough luck!' There is No reason for this place to be That inflexible, this is not industry standards at all and we know this is an issue a couple of Days in advance even so it isn't a last minute cancellation. I can't recommend this place at all when they are more focused on money than Bare Minimum customer service.

After a day out on the bike exploring Chimney Rock and Lake Lure we stopped in for a quick bite to eat. The Tiki bar is located behind the motel and overlooks a beautiful river. The bar staff were friendly and the service was excellent. We got the mango habanero wings and our friends got the Cajun shrimp.

This was a older hotel but would stay over and over again. There was miscommunication about our room number and the check in upgraded us to a bigger room that was pool side at no extra charge. The pool was nice and clean and fenced in. The river behind the hotel was breathtaking. My furbaby had a ball!! The hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating. The room was super clean. The bed was comfortable. We had so much fun sitting outside our room listening to karaoke at the tiki grill and bar. Met some wonderful people. Great neighbors, friendly staff, beautiful area and only a mile from Chimney Rock. We will be taking another trip there soon!!

Leaf blower in parking lot until 9:45 on Monday night. Bar is good, bar staff friendly. Seems to be a bit of a locals hangout. Our cat was very happy, he spent a lot of time sniffing under a locked closet door.

We just stumbled across this place when we were riding through and decided to stop in. We almost pulled out but decided to ride to the back where we saw the tiki bar and pool area. Then we noticed it was right on the beautiful rolling Creek. The staff and everyone there was so nice and very accommodating. The food and service at the tiki bar was amazing as well. Great atmosphere!! We will definitely be back.

The worst roach motel you’ll find! Disgusting rooms, mildewed towels, mold in shower, loitering at all hours of the night outside the room, extremely unsafe, unresponsive property management, DO NOT STAY HERE! You’ll regret it!

Very , Very, friendly folks, not friendly people but folks. That means like family.

Rooms: They have really done a good job on the rooms not that they were bad , but upgrade is great.

Safety: Constantly fixing stuff, these people are the best, managed very well and room maids where great. Thank you so much. I must have loved it, hell I extended 2 more nights. Cool place.

Walkability: Rooms are 2 levels with easy access. Walkablity is good for mountains.

Needed a room close to chimney rock. Definitely motel feels but Had pool, river, tiki bar and grill. Just what we needed to relax. Staff was fabulous and clean room. Shower pressure on point and comfy beds. Fridge worked well
And had ice machine. Needs a vending snack machine but they have food during their business hours.
