Food was excellent as well as pricing however, I don't like eating on styrofoam or with cheap plastic forks. Staff very friendly. Would recommend.

Terrible service. Barely edible food and obnoxious owner means we never go back. Waitress brought food to wrong table. After they took a bite or two they realized that they had the wrong food. She picked it up and brought it to our table

When someone suggested sushi in tiny Lake Lure, I said no thanks..how could it be fresh and authentic? Well, someone shut my mouth, because it was fresh, authentic and in Lake Lure. So good!

We checked out the Japanese House on a Saturday night. Service was ok not very friendly but got their jobs done This place is nothing fancy everything served on throw away and to go type stuff. We got egg roll and crab wontons to start and husband got steak, shrimp and scallops and I got chicken, shrimp and scallops. Both were cooked great. They forgot my chicken but quickly brought some freshly cooked out. It was a bit pricey considering we paid more there than our dinner at steakhouse but we did have seafood. Overall we'll probably be back but not on a regular basis.
I once was super happy this place came into town. I've eaten here a few times but everytime I come back it seems that standards are lowered everytime. Last time I was charged for extra wasabi but never got it, already left and had to come back. This time, I ask for a coke to which I found to be flat, and I tried to tell them that but an older male started telling me that it's fine when it's not. Been in restaurants a long time and I know you shouldn't ever talk the way he did when someone is bringing up an issue. Never will come back and will forward this to others.

This place leaves a lot to be desired. The food was overpriced for what it was. They have no wait staff. Everything was served in plastic or Styrofoam. They have outside seating but it is right in front of a few very smelly dumpsters. And I've seen better bathrooms at an outdoor concert. I shall not return.
