The view of the lake was beautiful! Service was fast and everyone was pleasant. The indoor dining was closed when we went but the bar and grill and outdoor seating was available. We were lucky enough to have been sat outside with the beautiful lake view from the picture. The indoor bar was older & very dark. I'm glad we sat outside. The food in the menu was very interesting but when it came out, they were all ok. Not bad, but just ok. We got the scallops & stuffed crab mushrooms for dessert and the house special steak... again everything was just ok. The drinks were not that great. But after a long day of hiking & for the lake view, it was nice.

Where do I start... Me and my now Husband had stopped in to have lunch on March 20th spoke with Ryan Combs the GM to make reservations for our wedding rehearsal party. He told us they could do it and that we could have the upstairs April 12th. He gave us his card with his cell # and work number if we had any issues. We then called to confirm Apirl 8th that the reservations were made for 18 to 30 ppl. The lady who was Manger on duty said yes your wedding party is confirmed. Apirl 12th we show up to find out that they booked another party and the MG Ryan called us liars and said we never spoke to him. Well sir if we never spoke to you how is it I have your card and you telling us you moved from Texas and been in the area a few months on top of that you wrote down our contact info also and Name . So, with that all said before doing any dealings with these ppl you will want to do a written contract and have stuff signed. To be called a liar when you failed to do your job was ridiculous. You sir need to learn better ways of dealing with the public. Me nor any of my family will ever go here that's a fact. The Mexican restaurant near Lake Lure Inn & Spa did amazing and made a ton of money from the wedding party. Hated to even have to give 1 star your restaurant doesn't deserve that!!!!

Was booked with reservations here for a wedding rehearsal dinner , everything was confirmed. We all get here after driving and flying from others states. They could not get us in when we arrived. Will never even think about going there again. So we instead got greated by a wonderful lil mexican place next to the lake lure inn and spa. That service and food was above excellent.

They up charge for substitutions. (ie. onion rings instead of fries.)They also charge you 3$ to use a credit card. That said, food is ok for a lake dive.

Unfortunately, their excellent chili is served in what I can only describe as a "shrinkflationly small bowel". Nor was there an option for half a sandwich or something else that could make the chili a reasonably complete lunch. I left still hungry and disappointed.

Our family made reservations to go here after rehearsal dinner. Somehow they screwed up the reservation. When we all arrived they said we never made a reservation. Basically calling a family member a liar. We took our party of approximately 30 people 5 minutes up the road to a Mexican restaurant that gladly without hesitation seated all of us. I will never return to this restaurant. Everyone in our party felt the same way. From the time we arrived the entire staff was rude.
Stopped in to eat and was completely ignored. Took forever for hostess to greet us and no one ever took our order. People that came in after us were waited on and server continued to walk past our table and ignore us. Never even took our drink order. Very disappointed. Have loved this place in the past

Food was ok, and prices seemed to be as inflated as everywhere else. The service was great. Waitress was friendly, very tentative to our table. The view from our seats had a nice view of the water.Kid-friendliness: Basic chicken tenders and fries, cheese pizza, corn dog or mac and cheese food options for kids.

Pleasant family restaurant on the lake. It's probably packed on season due to location, and was quite busy even on a weeknight in early Spring.

Food was great. The steak was tender and cheese cake perfect and good size portions. We were only ones upstairs dinning. Waited to lone for our dinner. Poor little waitress was running up and down steps. Another waitress saw and checked on us. You need to reorganize. We love this restaurant and will be back.

The outside patio overlooks a beautiful and calm lake which heightens the experience. My favorite items were the apples and scallops and a huge prime rib. The mashed potatoes on the side were topped with everything that as a loaded baked potato. As far as the service, goes my server Brett F did what I asked of him for the food ordering which for me was letting him order all the food without asking questions because that’s what I asked of him. If Brett is your server just trust the process and let him order. Also, his friendly interactions were life changing me :) ?
