I am surprised to see such high ratings for this luncheonette. We were disappointed after all those stars. The place is clean and the food is ok. Certainly not worth all the fabulous reviews.

This was a great family meal ! We were very happy with all our food . All six of us ordered different meals and everything was very tasty . The waitress also kept our drinks filled . We would all recommend this restaurant!

We chose this restaurant based on reviews and it was close to where we were staying. We were disappointed. We arrived about 12:15, knowing they were open until 2 PM When we arrived we were made to wait about 10 minutes while a table was cleared, even though there were 2 empty tables. Once we were finally seated, it took another 5-10 minutes before we were given menus and then after 15 minutes, I finally got the attention of a waitress to take our order . We should have left prior to ordering...the staff was more interested in filling salt shakers and napkins at empty tables and preparing for the end of the day rather than waiting on the clients still in the restaurant (Over an hour prior to their closing time). We finally got our orders placed. Food arrived about 20 minutes later. It was fair. Our complaint is not really with the food...it was very average...but more with the lack of welcome we felt from the waitstaff. We definitely felt that they were all really wanting to just finish the day and go home. Perhaps our experience would have been better had we gone for breakfast. The lunch menu is fairly limited and the staff is definitely not interested in welcoming people after about noon. We would certainly not go out of our way to eat here again and were disappointed with our overall experience.

Food was fresh and expertly cooked. Joy, our server was, well, a joy! Friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, quick and responsive, always with a smile. We had a relatively large group and she handled everyone's requests seamlessly. For those with food allergies, they have a very good vegan menu. The options were varied and flavorful. Everyone in our group was happy with the food and would highly recommend the Victory Kitchen & Restaurant.

very confused on all the 5 star reviews. if you are charging $20 for a rueben and fries than I suggest not using store bought corned beef and making it in house. the meal was maybe a 5 out of 10
