Last night, my girlfriend and I went here and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. The food was delicious, the staff was incredibly welcoming, and the atmosphere felt warm and intimate. We laughed, talked, and really enjoyed our time together. Unfortunately, there was one rude customer nearby who was loud and disrespectful to the staff, which briefly disrupted the peaceful vibe. Despite that moment, the evening was still amazing.

I went inside and stood for 40 minutes waiting for a table. I did not mind the wait however, when I did get seated, they took a couple behind me to see them at the same time by a waitress with an attitude who all but tossed my menu and silverware on the table and walked away to seat the couple. The couple came in less than 10 minutes before they came to seat me. The couple was served immediately after being sat. I watched the waitress go get their drinks and proceed to take their order then get busy with other things in the restaurant. I was never served or even approached once I made it to a table. I got up and walked out of their restaurant after this. I understand being busy but it’s not like I was a big group of people to serve. It was a single person to take an order from. I don’t know that I will ever go back to this restaurant again after being treated in such a way.

We waited an hour past our reservation time to just get our drinks. When we finally got the appetizers, they were cold and we didn’t get enough plates for everyone. Almost 2 hours and we still have not got our food!

Today I had a very bad day and was in need of some comfort food. I walked inside and was greeted with a warm and welcoming smile by Jennifer. I needed that! Thank you! I ordered the Alfredo pasta with salmon, Collard green egg rolls and the Gouda mac&chz bites. Those bites were the star of the meal! I recommend those bites to everyone. The Alfredo didn't taste like Alfredo, and the collard rolls kind of taste like unseasoned frozen greens wrapped in a wonton pastry. I will go back and try something else just because of the warm welcoming smile and the bites.

This is a lovely restaurant. It is a perfect combination of cool funky bar and nice restaurant. It is lively but not loud and distracting. The service is excellent and the servers are friendly. Can’t wait to go back next time I am in town.
