A classic stop over for gameday at Appalachian State University. I have stopped by here for 2 decades. The Bar-B-Que is great and the service makes you feel right at home. In a word CONSISTENCY! A must stop for anyone.
Visited 10.22.25 with Dad for a late lunch. Small local BBQ joint. Dad had pulled pork sammich & onion rings. I had sliced beef sammich & potato salad. All was very good & good value. Service was great! Previous visit I had country style ribs which were excellent. Will visit again!
Hannah's BBQ in Lenoir has the best BBQ. I have been trying to eat healthier lately, so I get a vegetable plate, which is $7!! On this plate, I get a baked sweet potato (really good, they give you butter and cinnamon and brown sugar on the side), baked beans (the beans do have a little BBQ in them), and their delicious crinkle cut French fries.
