The ice cream and desserts are delicious, and my kids have so much fun watching the animals and playing on the big see-saw outside. The brownie sundae is ridiculously good and worth the drive.
Sweet place to get ice cream and coffees plus a general store. The proceeds support their animal refuge, and there are ducks, chickens, turkeys, and goats on the site. A general store offers hand crafted art such as framed art, fiber art, jewelry and pottery. Cool barn style building with seating on 2 levels.
Harts General Store and Creamery is such a special place. It’s family-owned, and you can really feel the love they’ve put into it. There’s a great playground for kids, lots of space to roam, and the land is just beautiful. The barn has the best homemade ice cream, and there are farm animals you can pet and feed — the rescue horses were my favorite, so sweet and gentle. Inside the barn, they also have local vendors selling handmade items like hats, pottery, and clothes....
