I tried several of their pasta dishes. Like other reviews not much taste. I asked the waitress if I could order chicken scampi. She said yes. It had no veggies. Drenched in olive oil with a few bland spices mixed with it. At least Olive garden food does have veggies,like peppers and onions with their scampi. Don't usually leave reviews.

I love Italy Grill here in Lenoir been living here 14 years and this my second time eating here and it was absolutely fantastic! My boyfriend had the Lamb Gyro Callizone and I had the Shrimp Scampi and we had fried mushrooms. 🍤 AMAZING WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Edit to add response to owner: The original review was not written the same day we ordered the food. I definitely had the tuxedo cake. It was awesome. Honestly, we threw the rest of the meal out, after eating a small amount. My profile is new, not fake. I don't own a restaurant although I have eaten at a great many of them all over the country. I dont lie. The spaghetti was definitley not whole pieces, the texture of the chicken definitely was not like a real chicken breast.
I don't know how this place gets all these good reviews. The food is just not good Italian food. The Italian Sausage Parm was cliced like pepperoni and the spaghetti it came on was cut up as well. (like for a child) The whole dish was very bland. The Chicken Parm seemed to be a chopped and formed patty with a batter type breading. The iceberg lettuce that is the salad was drenching wet. The desserts were awesome though. Especially the Tuxedo cake. I will never order the food again, but will probably order some takeout dessert.

Our family has loved dining at Italy Grill for over 10+ years. If you are looking for a great place to get some fantastic wings then look no further! They also have the best pizza crust anywhere around. Service is always great! If you are looking for a small town feel with nig food then this is the ace for you!
We live 30minutes from here and gladly make the drive to eat here, the food is amazing, as is the staff. The service is quick and pleasant. The food is always fresh and hot! We have tried so many different items on the menu and its all fabulous!!! We recommend this restaurant to so many others to try. I will go here over the other chain restaurants any day. Everything about it is great from the menu options to the staff. Please go and give it a try. (the lasagna, Caesar salad and Stromboli are my favorites.)
