I had the brisket and ribs combo with homemade peach cobbler. It was wonderful the ribs and brisket were so tender and had a thick bark flavorful from the smoke. The cobbler was also amazing.

So I’ve been to this place several times in the past and have always been pleased with food and service. But it’s been a while so we picked up a to go order this evening. It was ready within 10 mins. I got brisket and chopped bbq, fiancé had a smoked chicken quarter. Keep in mind I love 5 mins from here. I was looking forward to a good dinner. But it was quite the opposite. My brisket was just dry crumbles and jiblets. No smoke flavor whatsoever. My chopped bbq was dry and had no flavor. Her smoked chicken was rubbery. Highly disappointed in this esp after what I paid. DO BETTER!‼️Update‼️Owner of the business called us today! Super nice guy and had apologized for the issues we had, and made the situation right! Told us to come back one day the next week and dinner would be on them! This folks is the way you do business and take care of your customers! Thank You Nick!

This place is amazing! The staff were wonderful and extremely friendly. The food was excellent and quick. It was packed, but we ordered our food and waited maybe a minute to sit down. Definitely recommend trying it!
So worth the drive! JD’s has been satisfying our barbecue craving for years now. Love the size of this location and always have to get a double order of jalapeño cheese grits. Don’t walk……run to get done if the best cue around!
