Love this place Run by a grandfather and his granddaughter Really sweet people. The sourdough bread is softer than a pillow! Fried pies taste like Mt Granny's! Got a sourdough brownie Wonderful. Icing tasted like fudge. Definitely worth checking out!!!!!!

I was traveling through the area and this was such a pleasant surprise! I didn't grab lunch, but I did grab snacks for later.
Everything I tried was delicious and tasted so fresh! The peanut butter cheesecake was smooth and rich. The fried apple pie was still pretty light for being a fried product. And the cinnamon roll (warmed for about 30 seconds in the microwave) really balanced icing with actually having food cinnamon flavor which gets lost in more processed cinnamon rolls.
Will definitely stop by for a sandwich the next time in Lenoir!

My kids and I loved our sandwiches. The bread is so soft and delicious, we brought a loaf home for the week. My kids always manage to squish store bought bread, but the texture of this bread bounced right back after my 5 year old hugging it. We will be back!

I wish Lenoir had 10,000 small businesses as good as Jones sourdough bread. They serve a limited number of items but they are fantastic. My favorite is jalapeño sourdough rolls. Their desserts like coconut cake are perfection. It’s a small bakery with limited items, but what they serve is worth the trip. what a great business.
