Amazing Food!!! So delicious and 100% Honduran
We had a variety from the breakfast menu. Exactly what I expected! Lots of food- great prices-especially in todays inflated pricing-and smaller plates. Will visit whenever we are back in Lenoir!
Frozen vegetables, canned corn and very basic cooking that most anyone can throw together quickly but they aren't even quick. I've given this place a couple of tries but no more. You can get a much nicer quality meal for the price down the street. Try Taste of Havana around the corner (super sweet owner!), excellent fresh food and service! I'd also recommend Mi Molcajete (just across the street with delicious fresh cooked food), Piccolo's Italian Restaurant downtown and just a short drive down a couple of streets you can find Tumbleweeds Steak & Tavern (which has a great menu of really good items). I wished I'd taken a picture of my food at Main Street Magic but it wasn't picture worthy.
Her food be giving purr purr purr purr purr ?
I eat hear a lot and I love the food and everyone is so friendly and nice I’ve never had a problem hear it’s one of my favorite spots to eat
Amaizing food and flavor and really recommend people to visit and try it you won’t regret it
First of all, food and atmosphere were good. Clean. Very busy. However I asked for refill on coffee twice and never received it. We waited a long time to buy a gift certificate and then was told the manager was too busy cooking to help us, and could we come back. That was not good business! We went to another restaurant and bought a gift card. Also, I ordered a vegetarian omelet and it was lacking cheese and the waitress did not ask if I wanted cheese on it. And, according to the menu, the gravy I ordered to go with the omelet was a choice of sides. Now I find I was charged extra for the gravy. The waitress should have said when I ordered sausage gravy that there would be an extra charge. Plain gravy was free with my friend's omelet.
Restaurantji Recommends
Had planned to eat at Cafe 1841 but we met a man coming out of Magic who highly recommended eating there. We did with my friend enjoying the pancakes with bacon just the way she asked for it and the chicken and waffles with a side of fried green tomatoes. Whole meal was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend you try it. Receipt also included a free book from Tybrisa books across the street and a couple of doors down.
No, really, this is the best sit down breakfast in the area. I think everyone should check it out. While a little dry (ask for mayo or extra teriyaki sauce) the pineapple hawaiian chicken sandwich is delicious! The breakfast is so good, too, and it's a yes on recommendation from me!
Awesome food!?Great customer service!!
Restaurant was clean, service was fast, and our waitress was very sweet. We are from further west, so we had a lot of questions regarding some of the menu options. (We are not familiar with Livermush) Refills always came fast, pancakes were nice and fluffy, french toast was great and the servings were good. Our one complaint was the size of the country fried steak - typically restaurants we've been to give you at least a hamburger sized portion, these were closer to chicken nugget sized. Though this may just be a North Carolina thing. I do not like eggs, so I cannot speak for how they were made.
Sunday after church we thought we would try here. You seat yourself and then Shortly after a waitress took our order. Her name was Ashley and after that we never saw her again. Finally a waitress came up and asked if we ordered such and such -I guess they were trying to find out where the order came from. They brought our order and asked what else we might need. Needed silverware, Mayo, ketchup and salt and pepper. Never saw her again and finally the wife went to the counter to get all of those things. Maybe this is one of those serve yourself restaurants? We had place a Togo order as well when we got here and had not seen anything on that. Finally a waitress named Lexi came By and explained that our waitress was helping out cooking and she would Take care of us from here on out. She finally got our to go order and the check. Food was ok but doubt we are able To try this one again due to the experience. Good Luck if you do and Lexi thanks for taking care of us.
