Delicious food, massive selection of authentic dishes, huge portions served hot, excellent service. Have eaten there about 6 times. Will keep recommending and returning!

This is consistently one of the best restaurants in Lenoir. My wife and I have eaten there many times though we have only lived in Lenore five months. The service is incredible. Just recently, they took my drink order before I actually sat at the table. Chips and salsa, a basket of chips and a bowl of salsa come out almost immediately the dozen or so times I’ve eaten there. The food is freshly prepared by a chef who knows what he’s doing and takes pride in his food. The prices are ridiculously low for a restaurant of this quality. This restaurant has always been the place I go to for a guaranteed great meal.

Food was absolutely delicious! Wife has a gluten intolerant. They said most items on menu they could make gluten free. We will definitely be back.

This is our first time here, thought we would give it a shot since it was new to the area. I was craving tacos. Upon first look at the menu I was kind of lost. Had no idea what some of the things were. But there’s a lot of items on the menu for sure! Even Breakfast! Don’t see that often! Chips and salsa were ok not my favorite salsa. Kind of reminded me of Pace picante sauce from a jar. I ordered some kind of street taco Al Carbon (maybe what it’s called) and my fiancé got the Birria tacos and street corn. My tacos wasn’t what I expected it to be. But they were still good! Her tacos were much better and had soup to dip them in. After my 3 tacos I ordered a carne taco and it was much better than what I originally ordered. It’s had waters. And the total was just under $40.00. Service from our waitress was exceptional! We both noticed while we were there it got very smokey in the dining area. Her eyes started burning. Maybe need fans or better ventilation? Kind of loud environment as well. All in all I will probably go back sometime. And most definitely will try breakfast sometime!Parking: Plenty of room to park in paved lotKid-friendliness: They do have a kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible for wheel chair

In a town that already has multiple Mexican restaurants, Mi Mocajete stands out for offering unique dishes I haven't seen at other restaurants, in Lenoir or elsewhere. The food was delicious and the service was attentive. These are very large plates, so I recommend sharing or taking the leftovers home, especially if you want to try the ice cream.

I loved everything from the food, to the service, to the bachata music playing in the background. I won't go to another Mexican restaurant from here on out!!!

Ordered a Torta with practically everything on it, as well as a special order that the server was happy to help me with of chorizo, chicken with a cheese sauce. When arriving you are greeted and seated promptly. A basket of tortilla chips, a refried bean cheese sauce (which while a bit gritty in my opinion, tastes great) and the red salsa had a nice crisp taste as well. The vast menu allows for ample choices to pick from, of all tastes. They also have a icecream section for that after dinner treat.Servers were very kind and checked to ensure everything was good, as well as I believe the manager checked in with us.The four stars for food was given because while the quantity was good for the price the taste wasn't anything special (except the chorizo. That chorizo had a very nice flavor and isn't an overpowering salty flavor as alot of other places.) After asking the person who I came with (he had the torta) he said and I quote '"it's not the same flavor I had at the other place"'. This restraunt had moved from another location also in lenoir, that unfortunately I was unable to go to due to being in college away before they moved.Overall, the place is a good place for lunch if your hankering for some good food and you're in the area.(Image provided with review is of the chorizo, chicken, cheese dish.)
