The lady working is a wonderful lady and has been there for years and years and makes top tier food. She has to deal with all those golfers I wouldn’t have the best attitude either but I still love that lady and love her food.

Putting 5 stars here across the board to get this rating up. The food options in and around lillington are limited, but this place crushes breakfast especially and is one of the best around across the entire menu. This place doesnt deserve its 2 1/2 star rating. Not sure if the same lady works here that some of those comments reflect, but the lady I met there was very sweet. This cafe is located on the golf course and with only one person behind the counter i'm sure the place gets hectic at times.

I don’t know who’s operating on the phone, but she was very unwelcoming & rude. I came on the phone very respectfully. I didn’t even want to order from there anymore.

The lady working at 11am on 8/25/24 needs to find a new line of work. What an absolute shrew of a human being. I called to place a takeout order and she answered the phone with "Dogleg Cafe, what?" Then proceeds to give me short, one word answers as she mumbles into the phone and groans if I ask a question. I ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks. It was not a complicated order. Once I'm done she hung up without another word.

I go to pick up my order and a older brunette lady in a lavender shirt is chopping onions. She does not acknowledge me, not even a "be with you in a minute", for 5 minutes. I know because I was already irritated with her, so I kept an eye on the time to make sure I wasn't being unreasonable. Then, when she deigned to grace me with her attention, she asked me what I wanted. I told her I was picking up an order and she gives it to me. There were no napkins and no bag, even though I was carrying it all alone. Then she took one of the sets of silverware she gave me back, even though both the items I ordered needed silverware. It was bizarre. At that point I just wanted to get away from her. I struggled out to my car, and ended up dropping one of the sandwiches. The entire experience involved entirely too much attitude, eye rolling, and general disdain from the lady at the counter.

I worked in the service industry for many years. This is not how you behave. This is the first time in my life I haven't tipped someone in the service industry. I normally tip a minimum of 20%, but I couldn't bring myself to give that awful woman a single penny.

Called and got hung up on today by some girl 8/8/23 at 5:40pmI see now that it was after hours but whoever did that was rude. Why say "sure" and then hang up? Trash

Dawn and her staff did an amazing job on our annual site managers meeting for Womble Rental Management. We can’t wait to find an opportunity to work with her again. Delicious good and friendly service!
