Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Service is good and food and shakes are always good. A little pricey but I keep going.

I have gone to several Hwy 55s in the area. They tend to have pretty good food for a burger shop. This one does not. It is conveniently located in a busier area, so it probably gets a good amount of business. However, I have yet to have a good experience here, despite giving them multiple chances. Today I ordered a plain hamburger, a cheeseburger with the works, 1 large fry and a Sprite. I got and paid for two full meals. Okay, no big deal. Not what I wanted, but it's fine, maybe I didnt make myself clear. No worries.

No ketchup in the bag, my bad, I should have requested ketchup for French fries. The burger patty looked a bit burned, but maybe it had good flavor... nope, you know how burgers occasionally have a hard piece you want to spit out? I haven't had a burger here that hasn't had one in it. I couldn't get through a second bite. If I was starving, I probably would have eaten it, but I wasn't hungry enough to eat something that wasn't good. My teenager didn't even finish his burger and even the fries were sub-par. I may have been able to eat them with some ketchup, maybe even just a little salt.

Anyhow, that will be the last time I set myself up to be disappointed by this location. Convenience is not worth inedible food. I am sure with time this place will get better, as it is a rather new location, but I will probably never know.

I've been eating at Hwy 55 since I was a kid and it was Andy's. This was by far the worst one I've ever been to. The restrooms were nasty for one. The orangeades tasted like something not orange. I don't know if they made a large batch and it had been sitting forever or the oranges weren't good, but they were awful. Our local Hwy 55 freshly squeeze the oranges into the cup when you order then top it off with the sugar water. I've never had a cheesesteak that tasted like whatever that meat was. It did not taste normal at all. The waitress was very nice and we had no issue with service at all. I would just find a different location if you have a hankering for Andy's/Hwy 55 because this one will leave you confused and disappointed.

First place I've ever ordered from that does NOT except to go orders over the phone. Unbelievable. People are getting more and more lazier these days.

The chicken tenders are awesome, they can be breaded or grilled.
Kids menu is also great. Nice place for family, friends and even eat alone.

I ordered a shrimp platter in drive through. Was given no courtesy conversation. Did not receive silverware or napkins. Food was consistent with fair food at the end of the night when they are attempting to get rid of what they didn't use. Willing to try again..... Always give second chances. Just maybe a different location. If I find a decent one, I will bring my 7 children to experience it.

We were just passing through and we definitely picked the right spot! Derrick (sp?) opened the door for us and found us a table. His service was spectacular, as was everyone working! He even gave us a sample of the ice cream of the day. I’ve never experienced such amazing service from start to finish. Highly recommend.

very disappointing., who would serve this .. as a KIDS meal at that .. come on do better . very crappy service & nasty food . meanwhile e waited at the window for 10 minutes or longer ..

Stopped here on the way back to Fayetteville and I've never received my food so fast, not even through a drive-thru. The chicken cheese steak is soooo good!!

Cheese steak barely had any meat in it! They used to be really thick and yummy. Now it was mostly bread. Tasted good, though! Staff needs to be better acquainted with hand sanitizer.
