The City Cellar is a great place to go and enjoy a nice glass of wine and relax to live music on most days. The food menu has plenty of options, but I always get the Salmon dish (so delicious). The City Cellar is also a favorite hangout for my parents.

Walked in with my family and we denied service because it’s ages 16 and up. Laughable. Was nearly empty at 2pm on a Saturday. I get it toward the dinner rush and late night hours but afternoon.. lol.

This place is awesome and has the best staff...shout out to Sarah! I've been twice with the Wine Women Hiking Society of NC. In the past I probably wouldn't have stopped here after a hike (thinking am I in the right clothes?), but it is a relaxing and unpretentious place. Love it and the wine and food are excellent!

Prompt and excellent service but we were there to enjoy not for speed! It was relaxing , attractive vey clean and well designed- nice music coming in from deck. Appetizers, wine and cocktails to our liking. We’re able to take our time and enjoy. Nice addition to downtown Lincolnton!

I haven't yet been, but seeing that children under 16 are not allowed is WONDERFUL! I plan to visit in October while in town for a wedding. Where we live some of the coolest spots are overrun by families with young kids that run around and make unnecessary noise and distractions while their parents drink! Get a babysitter! How nice it is that adults have a place where they can have a date night AWAY from their own children and not be bothered by those of anyone else! Thank you for this, City Cellar! I do have 2 kids of my own and I work in an elementary school, so I am not a bitter, childless Karen. I just think this is a wonderful concept!

Fantastic menu, the food was cooked to perfection, and great cocktails. I am not usually a fan of live music at restaurants but they have some really talented people that perform. The service was top notch and on top of everything, they are one of the few places open in Lincolnton on Monday!!

This place was amazing. When we arrived there was a duo sining and playing the guitar. Not sure of their name because they shut down not long after we arrived. They were very good I hate I missed their act. Everything about this place was outstanding. Well done City Cellars.
