Tried this place two times once for food and again for karaoke, food and service was good so I went back to give their night life a try.
Unfortunately the locals didn't seem to like new faces. Blocking the view of the show, standing in front of where we were sitting in front of an empty table where they could have sat. Rude, but unexpected for a local joint. Most places were very hospitable in NC...

The burger is best but fries are flavorless gotta have a lot of salt to even eat them

Always a complete disaster at johnnys. The wait time is always 20 to 30 minutes longer than what they tell you. They never have enough waitresses. If you dont have 2 hours to spare, dont try to eat at johnnys. If you are in a hurry, do not expect fast take out from johnnys. Food is decent but not worth the hassle.

Husband and I met here with a group of 15 people for a party.We had so much fun ,the food was good the waitress was fantastic,she managed to keep up with all our drinks and food. The music was great and service was awsome.Will be going back and highly recommend

The hours aren’t true, it says they close at 12, i came At 10 and they were closed

The workers like to close early when it’s not busy after work I came there expecting a good meal considering Friday/Saturday they’re open until 12 but no I walked in at 10 to the workers telling me they’re closing because it’s not busy meanwhile there were 3 cars in the parking lot out front and 10 in the back meaning they had the staff to be open

One girl handled the ENTIRE restaurant. Bar AND tables. Was there 2 hours just for nachos with queso and pico for app, fish tacos were a JOKE for me and a Carolina burger tray. I could have made Capt Morgan’s frozen fish tacos with lettuce and tomatoes at home. No bang bang sauce at all as stated on the menu. Hubs got the Carolina burger which was much better, I should have gotten “American” food. They have zero business including “Mexican” in their restaurant name. Cool for bar food, wings, pool and booze. Mexican….nope.
