This local establishment is a hidden gem, located in downtown Lincolnton. I was going to post photos of our meal but we were so enthralled with the food I totally forgot! All food is sourced local from NC and SC and the fresh desserts are made by the chef's mother. Staff was super friendly and well informed about the menu and specials. Seasonal Cocktails were superb as well. Check out this spot. You may have to loosen your belt before you drive home. It's just that good!
Exceptional food! I'm in town for business and wanted something special for dinner, and I decided to try Local Roots for take out. I was so not disappointed! The braised short ribs with garlic smashed potatoes and veggies was absolutely terrific. The short rib melts in your mouth and the accompanying potatoes and vegetables work so well together. I ordered deviled eggs as well and they were terrific too. I have another week in town and I'll absolutely be back!
