Yall. This place is amazing! The chef is legit!!!! Not only was our server just a sweetheart but the food was dang good. My husband got a patty melt and I got the veggie pasta, and let me tell you, I licked my plate clean! And the price was just right!! We will be back again and again!! Oh, get the fried deviled eggs, just do it.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu was good and our bubs loved the French fries!

I’ve never been let down by Zhay’s! We order doordash, it’s always delicious. My husband always gets the Chicken Alfredo with texas toast(delicious, I had the blackened shrimp alfredo my first order, which was slightly too spicy for me, but still delicious!). I always get the fried ribs with tangy bbq(which is like a mustard-based sauce in my opinion, delicious but can be a bit much on it’s own). This time we also got a side of the sauteed potatoes and I’m drooling. They’re so light and fluffy, but crispy on the edges, seasoned well, not too oily, just absolutely amazing. There’s a reason Zhay’s is our go-to for comfort food and it’s not just how close we are located!

Dine In. Wing's presentation was good. Fried green tomatoes were cut in half and had small hard pieces, but tasted good, and the food overall was good. The fish was fried a little hard, but tasted good. We enjoyed ourselves. We'll go back again.
Dietary restrictions: Greens and spinach were good.

We had lunch there Friday, my husband had the patty melt and loved it. I had the chicken fiesta salad, and it was so big, I ate on it three times. The fried deviled eggs were awesome. Our server was great and we will be back!

Had a Philly burrito. Strange but strangely good. Would probably eat here again if I was walking around town.

Went on 9-22 with my wife and parents for lunch. We got 2 salads, fish and a burger. I noticed that some fish and 2 salads were sitting out for 20 minutes. It was our food. The cook must have forgot about the burger and made burgers for everyone else. By the time we got our food my fish was cold and the lettuce on the salads were hot. Could definitely tell the food had been sitting out. Definitely will not be going back If that cook is still there. Looked like a big guy. Cooks at McDonald’s are better than him. Felt bad for the servers for having to put up with such incompetence. Food was right in front of him and a good cook would have wondered why the food was sitting out for so long. This will probably be another restaurant that closes because of cooks that aren’t even good enough to be working at fast food places.

First, they're open on Sundays, so we were glad to find them while house hunting. The rest is a mix.
My best girl ordered the Sea Bass Special and went bonkers over it. She said it may have been the best seafood she's ever had.
My hamburger and fries, not so much. Some of the problem was probably timing. It took 31 minutes to get our food, which is expected with finer dishes like the fish, but I believe my burger and fries sat and waited.
Not good.
The burger was almost...almost warm, as we're the fries. I was extremely disappointed. Worse, it was easily the driest burger I've ever had. I forced it down with ice tea because I was famished, but a Burger King Whopper would have been a better option.
The fries were barely warm and not crunchy, which is what I'd ordered.
Our server was great! I appreciated her knowledge and attention.
And, as always, the bathroom was very clean. That's important!
Look, I want every business to succeed, but we work very hard for our money. We expect decent food in actual restaurant settings. That burger and fries blew this review. I wish it hadn't.

Service very good that being said food was terrible we couldn't even eat it
Stopped in for lunch on the way to South Mountains State Park. Fried deviled eggs were good, as well as the waffles and wings, and the fries that came with the wraps are seasoned and battered!
Parking: Look for parking around the town square
