Smokey's Fillin' Station

The margarita flatbread pizza was great but the double burger was cooked perfectly and could feed a family of four.

Ok we ate based strictly on reviews (which we usually don't agree with but we always give a place a try)..... we concur! This place is delicious! My DH had the Roast beef special ( meat was delicious and piled high) onion rings were spectacular and certainly a full belly if you can venture to eat it all! I had the Catfish sandwich...... also excellent! I had the sweet potato fries that were sooooo crispy and delicious..... I could only eat half but boy was it good! Do not sleep on this place.... it is def worth the ride! They were efficient, fast and courteous.... I will definitely eat here again!

Excellent lunch spot, but bring your appetite. The double burger is highly recommended.

Food is Good, but they need a better payment system. It takes 15 minutes or more to be able to pay for food. I’m sure that can be expected for newer restaurants.

The food was good! It is definitely a fillin' station atmosphere- mismatched tables and chairs, lots of memorabilia on the shelves surrounding the eating area. You just order at the counter and they call your name when the food is ready. The girl who took our order was very sweet. My husband had the Italian and I had the roast beef and cheese on a bagel, which was the daily special. It was a little more expensive than advertised.

I had a single burger from there with wavy potatoes and not only was it the best burger I’ve had in years It was so big that I couldn’t even finish it

Excellent service and great food

One of my favorite places for lunch! The food is always delicious and the specials are a nice treat when you want to vary off the menu. I have not been disappointed yet!!!

There was no sanitation sign in place anywhere. I'm unsure of what's going on here but there needs to be a state inspection. I don't know why they don't use gloves and why the back looks so sloppy but this is unacceptable. I know it's a small town and this is locally owned and therefore it should be wonderful. However, this is one of the few places that we went to that it was a complete regret in one of the worst experiences we've ever had. It was unbelievably expensive and not worth it in any form. I will never get back this terrible experience. One of the absolute worst burgers I've ever had.

Cute little locally owned and operated cafe with a big menu for lunch. The burgers were huge! Big menu. Quick service. Outdoor and indoor seating.
Definitely recommend and plan on returning.

As a local to Avery County, Smokey’s is the absolute best hands down! They have the best burgers I’ve ever had and the best service too! My husband and I eat here at least once a week and I’ve never went in and not seen smiling faces on all employees!! 100% recommend!!

We were in need of food after a beautiful climbing day at Shiprock. We were stoked to enjoy some great food! The chicken sandwich was incredible.
