Tartan Restaurant Reviews
Waited 20 minutes no one ever took my order a couple walked in and there order was taken immediately the waitress looked me right in the face. I walked out and will never step foot back in this place. Ignore me cool I’ll return the favor and keep my money.
When I expressed my disapproval of the Trump shirts and hats for sale the cashier said " You are in the wrong place." I bet they won't post that at the front door.
I got the Rueben the bread was not toasted and was soggy on the bottom slices- it would have been better if it had thousand island instead of the tasteless minimal mustard spread on it. I love Rueben sándwiches but just could not choke this one down- from the good reviews I expected better for what it cost me

Tartan Restaurant is a welcoming spot for tourists and locals alike. The food is fresh, with highlights including the oniony potato salad and St. Andrew's club. Pancakes are a favorite, served with trio sauce on the side, and hash browns are crispy and non-greasy. The biscuits are also a hit, with some visitors ordering extra to take home. The salad bar is a must-try, especially for the baked potatoes. Many guests enjoy the soup and salad bar or a hamburger steak, and appreciate the friendly, helpful staff who do their best to provide good service despite staffing challenges. The restaurant has a nostalgic feel with Scottish details and fun decorations, including Trump effigies, which some diners find amusing. It is especially popular for breakfast, with many returning for the blueberry pancakes and perfectly cooked eggs. The atmosphere offers old school charm with Scottish accents, making it a cozy place to enjoy a meal after a day of exploring or hiking. Although service can be slow when crowded, staff members are friendly and attentive when possible. The quality of food, especially the crispy bacon and hash browns, is highly appreciated, and the prices are reasonable for the good quality served. Overall, Tartan Restaurant is a great spot for breakfast and casual meals.
