Smelled BBQ driving through Linville. Went to Grandfather Mountain first, then determined to find the source of that smell. By the time we got there Kennedy only had ribs left. We split a half-rack, 6 baby back ribs, and they were AWESOME. The flavor was incredible from the smoke and the rub. The sauce he gave us was ignored, none was needed, ribs were juicy. If you love good BBQ, and you're in the Linville area, treat yourself!!!
Side of the road bbq stand that has fabulous bbq and slaw sandwich. Didn’t have anything else, owner is truly and good ole boy loving what he is doing and making outstanding eats. Highly recommend.
Stopped on our way home from Blowing Rock and this place had some yummy BBQ! I hope they stick around because we go to BR quite often. No indoor seating but there is a nice spot next to the creek to sit, or under the Pavillion. No restroom but the convenience store next door does.
