As part of my quest to visit all 100 counties in NC, I stopped into Louisburg today as part of checking out Franklin County. This coffee shop was my first stop. Very cozy and the staff made great suggestions. My blueberry muffin was moist and delicious and the recommended pumpkin spice iced tea was a surprisingly good treat!

Bonus for jokes on the tea lid 🤣 pick up a snack, a drink, or a meal and take a lovely walk through the area. I walked down to Louisburg College and back.

Reasonably priced as well!

What a great feeling. I know that's an odd thing to say after leaving an eatery or coffee shop, but it is true. Lovely people, good food, yummy drinks.

Let me take this opportunity to brag about Blue Collie Coffee in Louisburg. I have over ten years of experience in the social work field. I have been studying human behavior for over forty-five years. I am extremely sensitive to vibes given off by people. I feel peace and serenity when I walk into Blue Collie Coffee in Louisburg. I do have a question for you. What kind of flower do dogs eat? They eat collie flower, (Cauliflower). I am sorry for I have digressed. Where was I? Oh, yeah. Blue Collie Coffee in Louisburg.
The biggest aspect of Blue Collie Coffee I thoroughly enjoy is they serve their coffee in real porcelain cups. I think it is sacrilegious to serve nice espresso in a paper cup. Any coffee shop owner who serves coffee in paper cups is not a coffee connoisseur and does not appreciate the art and science of coffee making. Any coffee shop owner should know a wonderful culinary experience is largely affected by the atmosphere. Espresso in a paper cup is not a good atmosphere.
Speaking of Blue Collie’s espresso. It is scrumptious. The smell is sweetly superb. The texture is frothy and light. The aftertaste is bold and earthy. For coffee connoisseurs, this is a good thing. I have one more question for you before I close. What does a cow become after it gives birth? It becomes decalfinated. (Decaffeinated.) I digressed again. Where was I. Oh, yeah. Blue Collie Coffee in Louisburg.
For coffee that is served in a porcelain cup. For service by an owner who is a true coffee connoisseur and respects the art of coffee making and all the ingredients of a great cup of coffee. If you are looking for a great cup of coffee in a peaceful and serene atmosphere. May I suggest Blue Collie Coffee in Louisburg.

I have had all the coffee places around here - packhouse, southern magnolia, wake forest coffee co, etc. and Blue Collie Coffee has, by far, the BEST coffee of them all. Other places might offer similar drinks but the coffee itself and the ingredients they use taste significantly better. They also offer some unique specials on the menu every season that are such a delight to try. Not only this, but every-time you walk into their shop, it’s like coming home. The atmosphere is so welcoming and they have many regulars that they know by name. The ladies who run the place are so kind, and I love their initiative in helping the disabled by allowing them employment at the establishment. They offer quality coffee and great service! My favorite drink to get is the honey lavender latte!

Really nice Small Town Coffee shop with room to sit down and enjoy your beverage.

Did not try any other snacks or other offerings with the coffee was really good and I had a outlet to charge my devices while getting some work done and enjoying that brew.

There is a brewery next door, which threw me off because I thought the coffee shop was at that location. Fortunately I did not give up and one of the employees notice me looking around kind of lost.

The coffee is so good. The food & pastries are delicious & the service is top notch. I was treated like family. Everyone was friendly even the other customers were walking in & starting conversations. It's the perfect place to relax get work done, conduct an interview or meet up with a friend for chit chat. Wi-fi was lightning fast.
