I stopped in and had a very basic order, #8 Mikes Way. No changes. Took my order to go and after a few bites noticed there was no bacon. I took it back in the store moments later. The person behind the counter just raised his chin at me, I told him the sub I ordered was missing the bacon (ive never had a club with no bacon). He mumbled something to his coworker and tossed the sandwich in the trash. He remade my sub with a ton of onions that I had to ask him to remove some of the whole slices, drowned it with oil… other coworker says “so you want bacon on it?” I said yes, the #8 has bacon so he put 2 slices of skinny, blackened bacon on the bread and handed it to the sandwich maker that proceeded to tell me not everyone wants the bacon on it. My order couldn’t have been simpler, if I wanted no bacon I would’ve mentioned to hold it (I didn’t say this out loud). A simple apology could have gone a long way. Instead, they were snarky to me and wrecked my sandwich with onions and oil.

The first time we went (during opening week) beginning to end, top to bottom everything was great. Today when I went, the customer service was off (they appeared short staffed and the staff that was there looked burned out already, poor guys), the drink machine was all sorts of backwards, and the sweet tea tasted like cotton candy. We got the wrong sized cups for what we ordered and our chips were picked out for us. Subs were good though!

I’m incredibly impressed with the staff after my experience tonight. I went into the shop about 13 minutes before closing. Lights were still on and the door was open. I assumed they were still serving. They were starting to clean up and there were no customers inside. They easily could’ve turned me away because of how late it was. However, they surprised me by making the two sandwiches for me and my mom. The entire staff was very friendly and extremely polite. I’m not exaggerating when I say they were the best team of food service workers I’ve ever met. I’m also amazed how well everyone got along. The environment between coworkers seemed so playful and very respectful. I’m partly so appreciative because me and my mom had just spent hours moving furniture for my nana.
