Order a number 7 lunch should have been a chalupa and quesadilla but it was a torta still amazing. And the cheese dip was great.
Music is WAY TO LOUD. No way any of the customers enjoyed the music.
Great authentic Mexican food. Fresh and quality ingredients. Had my chicken fajitas as a salad and it was very tasty and prepared just as I ordered. Steak fajitas were also very good.
Somehow I never checked out los Dos Titos before, tbh it looks like not much from the parking lot. But I saw on Facebook that it had a 99 sanitary rating, and people in the comments were raving about the food, so my friend and I decided to try it. Wow! Our server was so friendly and kind, and the food was absolutely fantastic! We had guacamole to start, it was a large portion and so delicious, due to the lime and chunks of avocado, obviously freshly made. Our server recommended we try the authentic Mexican tacos, so we ordered two each of the tacos, one chicken and one carne asada, with rice and beans on the side. The tacos were like nothing I ever had before, definitely the most delicious tacos I ever had! Then our server brought us an extra taco, al pastor, just to try since we had told her it was our first time eating there. So good! We also tried the agua fresca horchata with its creamy texture and vanilla and cinnamon flavor, it was wonderful! We had absolutely no room for dessert but they looked delicious so maybe next time. The atmosphere was family friendly and the whole place was really clean and welcoming. Don't let the outside of the place put you off like I did, and almost missed a great restaurant because of it. Once you go inside it is really nice with delicious authentic Mexican food. I can't wait to try other items on the menu!
The prices are great and the food was even better. We loved it, such a great atmosphere for our family. We were able to relax and enjoy our food because it was not jam packed. Although, I’m surprised they weren’t busier with the great quality service and food.
This is not the Americanized Tex-Mex food served in most 'Mexican' restaurants (which I eat often and thoroughly enjoy). It's authentic Mexican fare that is truly special. Mexican Street Food at its very best - basic flavors, smaller portions, and surprising seasonings. The menu is diverse and wide-ranging. This is a no-frills, work-a-day eatery that serves up delicious food with a smile (and a lot of loud Latin music). If you are looking for a quiet romantic dinner for two, this is not the place for you.
On our first visit we enjoyed the familiar Shrimp Fajita ($14.99 with Onions, Peppers, Rice, Beans & Shredded Lettuce) - Tasty and filling; a dish we will order again. For something a little different, we sampled a Carnitas (Mexican Pork) and a Oaxaca Cheese (white, semi-hard cheese similar to mozzarella) Empanada ($3.99 each). The Carnitas was excellent, but the Oaxaca Cheese was amazing. It was flavorful, gooey and tangy and simply delicious. The Empanada dough was much thinner than usual and crispy fried instead of baked. The Cachete (cow cheek) Taco ($2.99) was pungent and interesting, but chewier than expected - not recommended.
My favorite (at least so far) is the Al Pastor Torta ($9.99). Torta is a Mexican sandwich that is a cross between a French Baguette and an Italian Panini. The ones served at Los Dos Tito resemble a Cuban Sandwich. The crusty bread was toasted just right and filled with zesty Pineapple Marinated Pork, Beans, melty Cheese and Lettuce. I also recommend the Mexican Sausage Sopes (fried Masa-based dough served with various savory toppings) - $3.99 with Lettuce, Fresco Cheese and Sour Cream.
Another interesting and tasty item is the Pork Skin in Red Sauce Gordita ($3.99). A Gordita is Masa-based dough that is cooked on a grill until it becomes crispy and puffs up. It was split open (like pita bread) and stuffed with tender, spicy Pork Skins and topped with Lettuce, Fresco Cheese and Sour Cream. Probably not for everyone, but I like it. We also enjoyed a Tinga Quesadilla ($8.99 with Rice or Salad). The handmade Tortilla (Corn or Flour) was crammed full of shredded Chicken that was swimming in a spicy Tomato and Chipotle Chile Sauce.
The deep fried items are a little greasy, but still enjoyable. Buen Provecho.
