Food was good, service ok (not great). Easy walk from anywhere in Oriental. No view. Nice bar! Restaurant was crowded and tables were not spread apart per the State COVID pandemic guidelines.

They’re in a small town but get plenty business it seems, I like their food and varieties, prices are decent but the few times I’ve been it’s just taken so long for my order. Hate the wait but that’s the only bad thing I can say about it. Everything else is great!

The folks at M&Ms could care less about the wellbeing of their customers. Not a single staff person wears a mask and they are rude if asked about it. Forget about taking out food from this place - but you can be sure of taking out COVID.

Had the pot roast special, was delicious. You could cut your meal with a fork. Yummy. Have been in the past and fish dishes are also very fresh and good.

We have eaten here several times. The mahi bites and grouper bites are unparalleled. The rest of the seafood on the menu is always fresh and so well prepared!

Had dinner here our first night in Oriental. Nice spot on the screened in porch. We met the owner as we were discussing what to have, I was leaning toward a smoked salmon special when Dave introduced himself and described the smoking process he uses. I took his advice and had the best smoked salmon I have ever had! A definite stop of you are in town.

Even before Covid, the servers here have no interest in being attentive, polite or even available. They come, take your order as though they're being inconvenienced and disappear. The food isn't bad (i wouldn't rave about it), but the service makes the visit unworthy.
It my be a great place to eat, it not safe no employee, including kitchen staff were wearing a mask, so we left.

First time we tried the M & M Cafe and absolutely the last. This is the era of Covid 19 which is a dangerous virus. Not a narry employee wore a mask. A member in our party is gluten intolerant, so In doing our research on the establishment their website said there was gluten free food items as well as other dietary food items. The wait person and bar tender had no idea what gluten was or if any food or drink item on the menu was gluten free. It was sushi night and that was the actual reason we decided to eat our dinner at the M & M Cafe. I do not believe all of the fish was fresh. They used cream cheese as a filling for the sushi rolls and the rice was no sushi rice.. There was one employee that was getting in arguments with other employees and actually interrupted a conversation between the receptionist and me.

The service here is terrible. Our server was so hateful our entire meal! She just had an attitude from the time she came to our table. She messed up our order several times. I tip according to the service we receive, typically leaving 20% or more. So with her terrible attitude and service I tipped accordingly. As we were walking to our car she walked out on the porch and yelled at us about the amount of tip we left and told us to never come back there. Don’t worry we won’t!

M&M's is a casual restaurant very popular in the area. I ordered the same 1/2 lb. hamburger I had before and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked medium rare...this is hard to get anywhere, Service was terrific, friendly and affable, and all eight of us old guys enjoyed our lunch.
