Food was not fresh and it was disgusting !!!
Fries hard, fish hard and old taste like the grease it sat in, just terrible!!!!
Seafood is always great but one thing I didn't like bc I am not a big fish eater , I wanted to just get more of the shrimp , crab cakes and clams and oysters but they don't substitute certain items on the menu , always enjoy my food when I eat there
Disappointed. I ordered the catfish and flounder plate with loaded bake potato and coleslaw. The founder appeared to be done, it was crispy. However, the texture inside was mushy and sticky. The flounder wasn't done. They served me undercooked fish. I didn't eat enough to get sick.
The first time I visited this place was many months ago and I promise never to return. My wife and I decided to try it again the past month and we have had an excellent experience. We have visited about four straight Sundays. Food was great and the waitress has always been nice and friendly.
This is my first and last time here the food has no taste at all the blooming onion was tasteless and not cooked all the way the fried shrimp no seasoning what so ever the need some help in the kitchen cooking cause everything we tried was tasteless the fries taste like they were cooked yesterday the ketchup was brown and tasted sour the service was okay but for the price of the food they should put a little more love in cooking 😂 I wish y’all would season the food it would be so much better
Service was awful Paige the waitress had the attention of a flea I paid for two drinks one got refilled after I finished my dinner and the second drink got refilled with water ask for tater sauce and cocktail sauce that was on every other table never brought some would say I should reminded her not at those prices and fish was tough being overcooked. Hush puppies and fries were greasy need to drain them before you serve them.
Servers are nice, food is plenty and hot

First off, the restaurant is beautiful. Great job with the new decor. I’ve visited the Mayflower in Raleigh on many occasions. I will say that the Louisburg building (inside and out) looks much better.
Now, the food was not good at all. Very different from the Mayflower in Raleigh. Fish was bland and tasteless. Shrimp were the same. The best part of the meal was the Cole slaw. That tasted exceptionally well. This was my first time visiting the Mayflower in Louisburg. Maybe they had an off day today. Not sure but the food simply wasn’t good.

First visit to this Louisburg location. The Rocky Mount location is closed.
The restaurant was nice and clean. We were seated immediately and had an awesome waitress. The food was good.

Not really a good dining experience this time. Service could have been better. Sweet tea tasted bad and the fried flounder did not taste right at all. Overall, was disappointed with the meal.
