Dined Valentine Day 3 pm. Only 2 servers working. They were both hustling. We shared a dinner and it was really good. Also had side salad. Food was very good and came quickly. The drinks were kept full even though the server had 8 tables. They did a great job and it was a positive experience l.
Mayflower is a quaint place. Employees seemed to be happy and attentive. It may have been an off day, or an off shipment of their catfish. However, I've been eating catfish since, well, a long time, and theirs unfortunately tasted like the water they were caught in. As I stated, it could have been an off day. My father enjoyed his meal, I believe it was fried white fish. The hush puppies were tasty. Coleslaw was a bit warm. Again, may have been an off day and the only time I've ever been there.
Really good service, great atmosphere. The restaurant is very clean even the bathrooms !I got the popcorn shrimp special for 7.99 and I still had enough to take home.

I ask for my fries to put in separate container than my Fried clams and scallops because I don't like French fries soaked in fish grease and obviously they forgot instead of just making some more fries the cashier took her bare hands and tried to pick the French fries from under the fried seafood and put them into another container but I wasn't supposed to see it but I could from the reflection on their cooler in the kitchen from the to go counter... that was totally unacceptable and unsanitary I won't be going back to this location at all!
The young man in Togo by the of name of Gus, is great at his job! That boy always has a great personality, He gives excellent service in Togo! Definitely recommend going into Togo!
