We saw this place had a great amount of reviews and figured the reviews would be worth it, but it fell short of my expectations. It took us almost an hour to be seated when there’s only like 7 tables in the whole building. Service wasn’t timely either. Took us about 15-20 minutes to even get our appetizer. The food was ok since they overcooked my burger. Find other places to eat during lunch if you can or otherwise, you’re in for a huge wait time.Parking: There’s some parking spots down the road, but it’s very limited.

Amazing!! I was headed out of OBX and desperately wanted a quality Gluten-free meal (which is terribly hard to find on the avg road trip).. Avenue Grille had tons of GF options, the food was tasty and fresh and the service was lovely. They also had a cute/funky gift store attached to the restaurant.

We had the maple pecan fried chicken and the shrimp avocado dipping salad for lunch. It was the best meal I’ve had in the past 3 months while traveling across the country! A meal to remember!

Courtney was our server and she was wonderful! The food was delicious! Highly recommend the brisket sandwich, burger, Yukon gold mashed potatoes and lavender lemonade! You will not be disappointed and will return again and again! Courtney was smiling, easy going, accommodating and just fun to be around!

Food was pretty good, pricey for what it was but expected in a touristy area. The reason for 3 stars is the service was at the pace of a snail. Ordered a cocktail and it took 15 min, this wasn’t some elaborate drink order. The waitress kept saying sorry it’s taking so long the bartender is busy. (Wasn’t busy we were sat immediately so not like the place was full) Took around 40 min for our food to come out, then I ordered one more of the same cocktail. Meal was finished and my husband asked the waitress, can you check on that drink? She said oh sure then said under her breath while walking away, “I forgot”. Probably won’t be back as there’s many other places to try.

We stopped here as a group for lunch and it was perfect, something for everyone including vegetarian/vegan options and healthy options. Drinks were great too! Everything is made fresh and mindfully curated. The owner expanded the restaurant to a conscious gift shop and yoga studio so her passion shows. Indoor/Outdoor seating available, patio was lovely. Our server was awesome too. Recommend going here!

Very nice view of the water if you're able to get a table by the window. The crab dip with pita points was very good! We had red drum fish tacos and the shrimp & grits. The food was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. We also tried the Lost Colony blonde beer from Stumpy Point, NC which was delicious. Very limited seafood options for being on the water. Service was so-so, but overall we had a good time here.

Great food and fresh fish! Amazing view of the water and boats while enjoying your food or a cocktail. Also connected to a shop with lots of local arts to purchase. Very Nice .

Great meal and drinks, outdoor seating with a view. Thanks to Darius for excellent service. I’ll visit again the next time I’m in Manteo.

My grown daughter and I had a late lunch here during an afternoon visit to Manteo. Food was well presented, delicious, and affordable. Service was prompt and friendly. The ginger lime soda was delightful!

What a bummer! My meal over cooked. Couldn’t find our server. Ever. She didn’t take any plates from appetizers so we had to eat around messy plates with peeled shrimp. No where to put the peels. Just whole thing was a major disappointment. Manager apologized and took 60% off my hamburger, but not the up charge of $4 for my onion rings that I requested a specific sauce with. Server assured me it came with the onion rings and then couldn’t find her to politely ask for it. Was I a Karen, yes. But I didn’t yell or raise my voice. I just expect more from the #1 restaurant in the town and an $18 burger. Notice the $11 they took off the bill for stating my burger was over cooked. I ate less than half.
