Food is cooked to order so you will wait just a little bit but it is worth the wait. Oysters are local and very fresh full of flavor and I think six different kinds. I could be wrong on that, maybe seven. Nonetheless they are all different and all very good.

We were staying in Manteo and most dining places were closed on Sunday and Monday. We found the blue water grill which was less than 10 minutes drive from the tranquil inn.
We had a reservation at 630pm and we were seated promptly at the most beautiful corner window with views everywhere. The server, Percy, was exceptional. She made the experience from a 7 to 9. Absolutely understood what we wanted and delivered!!!

We had our wedding reception here over the weekend. We were absolutely in awe of the entire experience! The servers were so kind, attentive, and welcoming. The food was delicious and our guests highly complimented everything served! A HUGE thanks to Ami for organizing the beautiful reception!! We are very grateful to have Blue Water Grill and Raw Bar as part of our wedding!

The place is really nice, clean. Food is amazing we ordered shrimp, fried shrimp and fish of the day, guys everything is tasty literally everything. You can feel yourself better in this restaurant and our server was really kind and friendly to us. Thank you for the good food and well spent time!

We are not fancy seafood people but for a nice night out this place has everything you need and want. The views from the enclosed porch are amazing looking out at the docks. The cocktails are well made and the food and fish are fresh and delicious.
Shown is the fish of the day (Blue Fish) on orzo, the fried shrimp and fried oysters, and some oyster shooters...not our jam but if you like bloody Mary's...you'll love these.

We love this place we do our annual family/friend reunion costume contest on Labor Day here. The food is great, the place is nice, staff is awesome and MJ the manager is the Best!!! Thank you MJ for remembering us from last year when you were our server!!

Everything was delicious! The homemade chips turned nacho-style were especially tasty! Chicken breast was tender on the salad and pasta entree was a winner, also. Beautiful views, friendly and casual atmosphere. Would recommend.
