Been to Lost Colony many, many times. Fantastic English Pub fare with amazing brews. Definitely worth a visit when you're in the OBX and stop by Manteo on Roanoke Island.
I had the BEST EVER fried shrimp. I have allergies to fresh lemon, etc. and they actually listened! Geno, one of the owners personally brought my plate to me! And getting Diet Pepsi was a plus! I tried mushy peas for the first time, too...modern British cuisine! Didn't get dessert, we were too full! We had a pretzel for an appetizer, could have used regular cheese for dipping instead of 3 mustards....Dietary restrictions: I'm gluten intolerant and took my Gluten Ease and was able to eat the delicious foods. Chips (thick cut French fries) were coated with a breading....good as well! Husband had the crab cake sandwich but it was just ok he said.

Leah was amazing for service and making drinks especially as it was the first Friday. She deserves a raise and proper support especially against the entitled old snowbirds hovering over tables and rolling their eyes. It's worth it to put your name on the list and wait patiently especially for the pork knuckle.

Outdoor seating for dogs…I get it. But super warm day…we needed an umbrella but we saw our waitress ONCE. So we couldn’t even ask.We had to go inside to find her to pay and leave. Drinks came late. Food was ok but overpriced!!! 2 hours LOST. I’m detecting thus the name.

We had an amazing dinner here while visiting Manteo. Loved trying some British and Irish food. It was the best meal at a restaurant we’ve had in a while. The atmosphere and waiters were great too.
Guinness Stew was really good & hearty - full of chunks of beef and vegetables with a hint of Guinness Stout! The Shepherd's Pie was definitely Irish ? with the cheese, peas, beans, and corn! Definitely not British? Great attentive service.

I'm in town for work so I ordered from Doordash. Food so good I ordered 2 nights in a row! Tried the Shepherd's Pie, coddle, fries and pretzel. The beer cheese is to die for. Everything was delicious. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

And, the best of it all is: You can get a full English breakfast, pint of Lager and watch nearly every West Ham United match here, hassle free!! You can't beat that!

Food, Service, and Atmosphere are supurb! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars in each category! My Fiance and I love to watch West Ham play and drink beers while enjoying a good local vibe. Geno, the owner, is absolutely amazing and gets to know just about everyone who walks in the door. 10/10 Recommend, all the time. Great Place!
