We told them we drove 1000 miles to go to the Distillery, which was true. The owner took us out back where the rum was in the barrels soaking up that charred bourbon flavor. The logo is awesome. The people who run the place are great and the Pecan is my favorite

Even though they were booked solid, they made sure to open early and get us in to do a tire plug since we were on vacation and had a screw in the tire. They were there before they opened and had us in and out in 45 minutes. I cannot express how nice it was to have that relief on vacation and it was not ridiculously overpriced either!

Although I’m not a serious rum drinker, this rum distillery has some delicious rum cocktails. My group had the Wreck Diver, Jamaican Caucasia, White Lotus, and Mojito. The Wreck Diver (featuring the distillery’s silver rum and the tropical syrup known as Falernum) served in a chilled coop glass stood out as the best. The distillery offered free samples of their fine rums and friendly service.

We had such a great time! Ashley did our tasting and was amazing! She even got a treat for our dog, Mokka. Ernie was our bartender and mixed up some delicious drinks. Jamie was super helpful in picking things out and cashing us out. Wonderful experience and bonus it’s dog friendly. Jamie and Ashley were so sweet to our pupper.

We were staying in a cottage a couple blocks away and discovered this gem was nearby. The tasting portion was great. Really enjoyed the molasses that is a byproduct of the rum distilling. Ernie, at the bar, serves up great drinks and conversations. The pina colada was sooo good and the banana painkiller hit the spot. Visit this Outer Banks treasure!
