The food was ok. Everything was fried in the same batter. Fish to pickles to shrimp. Only takes cash or check. Felt like they were hurting for business. Prices were high for a small country town fish camp. I didn't dislike it. it was worth trying if you haven't been.

Ya’ll! You have to go and get the catfish nuggets; absolutely wonderful. They don’t overcook them and it’s chunks of catfish. So good!

We walked in around 7 on a Friday evening the place was not busy, we saw 2 waitresses 1 was working the other was working hard to not work, we waited almost 25 minutes before our order was taken then we waited another 45 minutes until our food came out! This used to be a VERY GOOD place to eat but needless to say we will not be back, our food was cold and the amount for the price was very sad, don’t mind paying as long as we get what we are paying for! Mc Donald’s sounds good lol

I didn't even know this place was here but it has been since1979. Decor is sparse nautical theme. A bit dark. I sat for awhile before they noticed I was there. Friendly and helpful. Food was wonderful. I had Cajun grilled shrimp, used very little cocktail sauce because it was delicious the way it was. The potato was perfection. The tea was good, not flavored sugar water like many places.

Great food. Old time seafood house. Great food at unbelievable prices. We got 2 seafood platters, drink, dessert for $35 dollars. Great menu, awesome food, with a friendly staff. If you don't give them a try your missing out.

Stopped in after shooting at Hyatt’s. We were pleasantly surprised. We both had the Grilled seafood platter. Every good !! We sampled both the Mayo & Vinegar Cole Slaw, Again they were both very good. We’ll definitely be back !!

This place is a hidden gem. Great people and the food is amazing! Wouldn't change one thing. Affordable family fish worth every penny. Everything was phenomenal!

JBs is the best place in NC not on the coast to get seafood! The food is so good!! My family has been coming to JBs for a long, long time. My grandma Mrs. Virginia, my mama Wanda, and my aunt Janet! They all loved this place. I can't wait to come back to Marshville to get some of this good food and hospitality ?

Love going to JB's. It's always a reminder of my childhood. Usually see the same staff that worked there when I went for the usual Saturday night outing with my grandparents. The food is very good! I love the salt & pepper catfish the best. Onion rings are also really yummy. (Do NOT forget the ranch dressing. It's the "good" kind). I do miss the salad bar & tater wedges. You can still get these items but it's not self-serve right now due to Covid. If this place ever closes/changes, it will be such a sad time.
