I stated working in Stoneville, NC in mid-December. When I found San Marcos I thought i had found an old friend as the food was very similar to what I had in Oklahoma. The food is good, but the customer service is sadly lacking. On 3/12/2024 @ 4:15 PM I stopped in and ordered three tamales. I drove home (40-minute drive one way) and planned to warm them up when I was ready to eat. So, when I did open the order, it was not mine. I immediately call and the manager (Dani? female) said she knew and was sorry. I was given three options. 1. I could drive the 40 minutes and get the correct order. 2. I could get them another day. 3. They could credit my card. one was out of the question, and I stated I was upset that now I had no dinner. They did not care. Nothing was offer for the inconvenience that their staff created. I will not be eating there again.

I am 38 yrs old and I have NEVER cleared a plate in my life and this is the first plate I’ve ever cleared !! Not to mention the staff is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and come!! I had Marliee and she is sweet helpful and her bubbly personality is contagious!!

Just walked into San Marcos at 10:05 and said they would have to check and see if the kitchen was still open. If it says open until 11:00 then there should not be a problem when you walk in at 10:05. I hope the owner reads this and handles this matter. I can say I went to that restaurant twice in one day. FIRST AND LAST!

Sopa De Azteca is the best soup I've had in a LONG TIME! It is like 3 soups in one and the bowl is so big you could feed four people from it - 5 Stars for sure!
A friend recommended this spot since we were visiting this area for a quick day trip for tattoos. It was DELICIOUS! They did have drink specials too. My margarita was a little on the weak side, but for $2.50 there were no complaints. My only problem was that I forgot my to go box!

Coming back from Martinsville and found this very tasty and friendly restaurant. Very traditional looking restaurant with fun colors and flair around the place. Had some great Mexican food. Got the ground beef burrito and enchiladas. Very good, solid food. Chips and Salsa were good. Not amazing but very solid. Warm chips would be better but you can't get everything you want! Great family atmosphere with friendly staff.
