2 Twelve Seasonal Kitchen + Bar

Ppl are nice but the service needs tremendous improvement. Ordered bread and it came back half ice cold with no plate nor silverware to cut the bread. The chicken was very chewy like bubble gum. Server never came to check on us unless it was to drop off food but never refilled our drinks. Great atmosphere and can be a good spot if the quality of food and service improved.

The food and the service is Hit and Miss at best. Make sure you sit at bar and you will probably be ok. way over priced and our chicken and salmon where ice cold on our salads ( the meat was blacked and not chilled but it was when we received it because we waited for a long time. No attempt
Was made on behalf of our server (a dark haired woman )after we expressed dissatisfied and disappointment… she made no attempt to rectify or offer any concessions. No refills on our drinks and it took 15 minutes to get tea and water.

Our third visit to ‘2 Twelve’ during seasonal shopping trips to Mebane, this time dining inside for dinner. Our prior two visits were on their patio for lunch (yummy burgers) and dinner (crab cakes, amazing chicken pot pie, coconut cake!). This trip we enjoyed fried oysters, the Southern Egg Rolls special, spicy Honey Sriracha Chichen (with delicious collards), Beef Short Rib Ravioli (rich and amazing), and an encore of coconut cake, cosmos, and wine! We were stuffed! Mixed drinks were well prepared every time! Nice wine selection. The menu adjusts seasonally, and everything so far has been delicious!

The patio is fun on a nice day and is heated in cooler weather. Inside is lovely, although a bit bright…it’s on open kitchen concept so I expect cooks need to see what they are doing. During this recent visit, the cooks were a bit friendly with the guests closer to the kitchen which made the visit more enjoyable and personable.

We prefer supporting local businesses over chains, and this location appears very popular among the locals. The two prior visits were perfect. Our most recent inside visit had two minor issues, one being our online reservation was not listed at the front desk when we arrived (reservations were made over a month prior as there were no inside tables on our last visit); regardless, we did get seated promptly. Our server was very attentive although she was a bit too quick to remove plates from the table; we were disappointed when the delicious sauces and apple chutney that accompanied the Egg Rolls suddenly disappeared while we were still eating them…we certainly would have finished the chutney and sauces, and maybe even licked the plate! Improvements to hopefully overcome…otherwise, everything was great.

2Twelve you have lost my business and support. As a customer I always try to support local. You make that challenging when you turn customers away 30 minutes before closing. That has happened to me twice now, most recently this past Friday night (Mebane Night Market); we stepped in at 8:28 pm, asked for a table for 4. The hostess said that wouldn’t be possible, there was a 20 minute wait for food and no 4 tops available- THE ENTIRE SEATING AREA OUTSIDE, minus 1 table, WAS VACANT. Most restaurants serve customers as long as they walk in prior to closing. You clearly do not care to serve customers that try to support you. You need to change the closing hours you advertise- they are false. I will no longer recommend your restaurant to visitors as I’ve done in the past.

The food, the service &hospitality is on point. You have to try it out. 5 stars is not what I'm use to getting. But I truly love it. Excellent atmosphere!!!

Went tonight for the 19.99 dinner had the tenderloin which was s tad tough and the frites were soggy, but the bartender was attentive! Atmosphere, very tense, was it because the owner was on the floor?

Fried green tomatoes had a thick batter. Not very appealing. Ordered the burger medium. It came out medium well and was burned on the bottom. Pasta salad was shells with no flavor. Onion rings appeared to be frozen. Was told they were made fresh. Heard too many good things about this place.
Will try them one more time.

We dined here Friday night 7/25/25. This is hands down the best meal I've had in a long time. I got the grilled shrimp orzo with a side of bread and butter. The main dish was bright, fresh and not overdone. This entrée' screamed summer to me!! My husband got the fried seafood platter (combination of 3). That entrée was lightly breaded, not overcooked and a plate full! Morgan took excellent care of us. We will definitely return and it won't be so long between visits!!

My family and I went here about a month ago. We had been giving a $50 giftcard as a gift and decided to try it. However when we went to use the giftcard and they explained that it’s from their old system and they don’t have a way to see the balance. So instead they offered a $10 free dessert. We declined because we didn’t want dessert; we wanted to use of giftcard and it the entire reason we had come there. We will never be going back.

I have had the opportunity to enjoy 2 Twelve a few times now, for dinner and brunch. It has indoor and outdoor seating, and I just wish the weather would permit me the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor seating because I think it would make all the difference for me. It does feel a bit tight inside. Every time I go the food is so yummy. On my most recent visit I had the Low country breakfast bowl. I am not a fan of grits, but OMG, they were perfect in this dish! I did discover that I dislike Anduille sausage, which I did not know prior to ordering. Fortunately I was able to put the pieces aside and thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the meal.

A college friend and I randomly selected 2 Twelve Seasonal Kitchen as our meeting place for lunch on a Saturday in May. This was the perfect location! The employees were very professional and courteous. The food and service was superb. Yes, I will return for another great meal

Amazing place to visit, the staff were polite and the service was amazing. We had the bang bang shrimp tacos and the Cajun pasta with chicken. Our glasses were never empty and our server when given any additional orders was delivered on the table within 1 min. Please show some support to this establishment. They deserve it.
