My husband and I stopped in to try for the first time yesterday. Very welcoming and the food was amazing. Def worth the drive in
The people were very nice and I love the atmosphere. I had the pretzel, which was generous but dry. The beer cheese was really BAD. It was so thin it was thinner than soupy. Cheese-colored liquid. It barely coated the pretzel and had no flavor. My friend liked her pizza.
Sunday brunch waffles were SO delicious! We always have a great experience at Bright Penny and really appreciate the self ordering feature.
Yall...these people are doing the lord's work over here. This has got to be one of the best kept secrets in this area of North Kakalacky!
First off their main sales guy who was tending bar, was just super friendly and very helpful in guiding me through the tap beer menu. Then their chef came out to talk to me, which was great. I got a couple of beers, the Pub Ale and the Spooky Spice. Both on POINT!
Then, yall omg...they have a full menu list of different deviled eggs! Shut yo mouth, they were so good. I got the egg flight, 3 different kinds of deviled eggs. Sweet dear baby Jesus they were soooooo good. And theeeennnn, I got their Apple & Goat Cheese salad with a house made Raspberry Vinaigrette. Lordt have mercy it was delish.
Btw, the bathrooms, super clean and the tap room is super spiffy!
I live 20 minutes away, I'll definitely be back. Bright Penny crew, yall keep doing yo thang, it's amazing!
I went to pick up a door dash order, and they gave me a free pizza for my wait. Needless to say, they have gained a new customer. I don't know what kind of pizza it was, but the sweetness and the heat settled perfectly together. I am very appreciative of this establishment.
Really good food, really good beer. Atmosphere was crowded and cramped.
My daughter did a quick Google search looking for a lunch place close to the outlet mall. We shared a great pizza - the family friendly pizza. It was perfectly wonderful! There was just the right amount of cheese on the tasty tomato sauce and ingredients. The crust was the ideal crispy-bottom crust.. The service was also excellent and this will be our go-to place when we come through Mebane. PS We liked the location; it was in a neighborhood rather than a strip mall or a busy area of town. Next time we’ll sit outside and have a beer.
Incredible food. Fresh and trendy without being too over the top. My family loves going there and no telling what will wind up on our plates. Tear and Share!!
Came on a Thursday and sat on the beer garden. Scanned the QR code and had drinks in 2 minutes, pizza in less than 10. Deviled eggs are pricey, but worth treating yourself. Pizza was yummy. Beer selection was excellent.
Heard the rumors about how good it is. Exceeded them!
Great Beers and the Deviled Eggs were Awesome!

Great beer, creative menu, good amount of seating and parking
We love it!
I don't understand the hype.
I've been here 3 times and each time the food was pretty underwhelming for the cost. The value just wasn't there for me.
Small pizzas north of $15 warrant extra scrutiny; I found the quality of various toppings to be questionable as well as the presentation of the overall product to be lackluster. You can't really mess up pizza, but you CAN insult me with pizza by gouging.
Concerning the eggs, I've tried several recipes that all share one commonality: very bland filling. You can cover them with toppings all day but it doesn't change the fact that the filling is chalky and flavorless.
I understand the allure of a triangle-style hipster bar out here in the sticks, but at $20+ per person it's just not worth it to me.
We had such a great time at Bright Penny Brewing. Great selection of beer. They also have wine and other alcohol if beer is not your thing. We had a flight of the deviled eggs which were out of this world. Also had the Lasagna Pizza, which was fabulous. Great indoor and outdoor areas to sit.
It is sad that having lived near downtown Raleigh for 20 years we have to drive an hour to get great food AND beer AND atmosphere. Worth it ?
