I had a great meal and a terrific server.
I've always been a fan of Cracker Barrel, and it pains me to leave a negative review, but after multiple experiences with missing food on my takeout and delivery orders, I feel compelled to share my frustration. As a Cracker Barrel member, my phone number is linked to my orders, so there's no reason why I should not be contacted when an item is unavailable. For the third time, I’ve received a refund, but no main course—this is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. While mistakes with orders can happen, not informing the customer when a key item is missing is simply absurd. I would advise against ordering takeout or delivery from here if you expect to receive your full meal. I, for one, won’t be ordering from cracker barrel again.
We had a great waitress Brandi. She offered suggestions, listened & checked back with us. Enjoyed our lunch!

If I could give zero stars I would... this had to be probably the worst dining experience l've ever had.
It took 40 minutes just to get seated and when we finally did, we didn't even get service until 20 minutes after I asked to speak to a manager and the one in questions name is Crystal... she was very unprofessional and very rude to me and my family and did nothing to help the situation. After she walked away, she proceeded to scream and yell at her staff cussing and insulting them, she even made one girl cry. Absolutely horrible management.

Wait after getting a table was terrible, food was sub-par, my dates food came out with a long hair in it, so of coarse we didnt get to eat together or my food would have been cold. Drinks mixed up. Just not the same place it use to be. Not sure if its management or what but someone needs to get a handle on this place.

Went last night with our 8month old. We were super excited because he is just starting to eat solids and, with it being so cold out, we were excited to have some nice hot food.
We were seated relatively fast, and the rest was disastrous. In total, we were in the building over an hour, and seated within the first 5 minutes of arriving.
1. There was no silverware, nor did anyone bring any. But, honestly that did not matter as you will shortly read.
2. Our server seemed brand new. Never told us his name.. Again, not a huge issue as my wife and I have both worked in the food industry, but a business does need to know their limits. However, he could not even provide the types of iced tea available. (Fun fact, they have a new sugar plum tea, but unfortunately, I was unaware and never had a chance to order one throughout our visit)
3. When bringing out our 2 drinks, the server almost dropped the drinks/tray on our child’s head.
4. Placed our food order within 10 minutes of arriving, however after placing our order, for the next 50 minutes, never received any update, biscuit/cornbread, anything. At one point in passing, our waiter asked if we needed a refill, but for the following 30 minutes after, never received said refill. Again, we also had an 8 month old, who was getting quite upset himself.
At this point, after an hour of not receiving any updates or food of any sort, we walked out and went to the chick-fil-a down the road. We received food within 5 minutes of pulling through.
Highly disappointed in our experience. Our family loves eating at Cracker Barrel, but this was horrendous. Communication goes a long way… if there had been an update or letting us know things were going to be a little longer/provided an expectation time, we probably would have stayed, but unfortunately that was not the case.

Good food. Warm atmosphere. Kind, helpful employees. Always inviting. You are appreciated. Thanks for working so hard to make the customers' experience a happy one and for representing NC so well when out of state visitors stop to rest. One of the best Cracker Barrel experiences.
