Crafted the Art of the Taco Mebane

Their flour chips are EVERYTHING. Love the drinks menu as well. Haven't ordered a thing I haven't liked from here!

Food was AMAZING!!! Service was even better!!! Aiden, Maisey, and Maryellen made our outing the best! I had the Bowtie Taco, the Big Truck Taco, and the Pimento Mac and Cheese!!! I’ve had these before and Crafted never disappoints. These are THE BEST TACOS EVER!!! I am not a big fan of pimento cheese, but Aiden said it is not an overwhelming flavor. He was right!!! It was great… bowel licking’ good!!! My wife had the Wayfarer and the short ribs were delicious! They made me wish I had bought more!!! My daughter had the fish and chips and said they were great!! My son had the kid’s cheese quesadilla and was very happy!! We will definitely come back!!!

First time in. I have food allergies so eating out can be challenging. Johnny came out of the kitchen to address my concerns. The food was was delicious ( fries are absolutely exceptional!) and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. It was a fabulous experience. We’ll be back. Very good food, and a great place for vegans and vegetarians. Tacos can be transformed into a burrito, a rice bowl, or a salad plate. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only complaint that I have is that I had to make sure the salad i ordered was what they described on the menu, because the first time I ordered it some items were missing they probably would have fixed it, but I didn't think to ask.

I have very, very fortunately been to this place many times, when they had previous locations in Winston-Salem and Greensboro, NC.

I did not realize they ever had a Mebane location until the other day when I went to meet my Aunt with my mother.

I have ELATED my aunt chose this place, because this food and drink straight up SLAPPPPPPP.

My mom and Aunt got the signature margaritas, which were made with a strawberry kiwi balsamic vinegar. It sounds weird, but man, that was probably the best margarita I have ever had. Unfortunately, I had to drive, so I couldn't partake as much as I would have liked to.

While I did not partake in much alcohol, I did have lots of yummy food! We started with the stuffed avocado, which had cheese sauce, pico, and chorizo coating the entire avocado. My mother also discovered that she will eat avocados if they are covered in many other things, LOL. I had a salad, fish taco and the chicken tinga taco, all were delicious. I cannot remember what my aunt had to eat as tacos, but I did try her collard greens she ordered and those were freaking amazing.
My mother ordered a smash burger, and while I did not have a bite, she was raving about the juicy burger with pimento cheese and bacon on top.
The only real issue with this restaurant is the parking, there is not much of it, and its in a downtown area, but, even with this hassle, crafted is very much worth it.

3rd time here, 3rd time I've been disappointed. The first time I went here the tacos were 50% sauce, which was overflowing everywhere. No comp, no offer for remake. The 2nd time, I got the wrong burger, which was burnt. This time, the guacamole tasted like taco seasoning and the tuna tacos that I ordered, with sauce on the side(to prevent previous instance from happening again), but it came with sauce on it. Ruined the tuna which was really the only good part of the meal. No offer for remake, no comp. Then the server told me that she was clocking out and that someone else would be my server. I've really tried to like this place and give it a fair shot but that's the last strike.

Absolutely love this place! Crafted is a true gem nestled in Downtown Mebane. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality—the kind that makes you feel like family. The staff is not only welcoming but clearly passionate about what they do. They work incredibly hard and it shows in every detail.

The food itself? Absolutely amazing. Chef Johnny is constantly creating new and exciting dishes that never fail to impress. As consistent customers, we’re always excited to try something new, and Crafted never disappoints.

Crafted’s vegan options are the best in Mebane—by far. They go above and beyond when it comes to accommodating food allergies, which is so important and appreciated.

You can really tell that the team at Crafted cares about their customers’ experiences.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Crafted – The Art of the Taco!

I had the What’s Poppin’ Burger and WOW — every bite was packed with flavor! Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I also grabbed a side of the chipotle mayo, and let me tell you… elite. 🔥

Huge shoutout to the chef — you can tell they pour passion and creativity into every dish. The atmosphere was vibin’, the energy was just right, and our server was super attentive and friendly.

Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area. Great food, great vibes, and an overall unforgettable dining experience!

10/10 no room to improve anywhere. Amazing hot fresh hand made food, tasty house made sauces, hot crispy fries, hot fresh made chips, great queso, tacos are fresh and flavorful, friendly attentive staff, cold beer, clean environment, great atmosphere. This place is an absolute gem. Coming from a person who has incredibly high standards for myself and my business. I would never say I am above a 9 because I believe there is always room to improve. This place is a solid 10. Everything was spot on. I live 90 minutes away and I will certainly be back regularly!

First time at this restaurant and it was fantastic! Our party of 4 all said their entrees were delicious! I had the One & Only smashburger with pimento cheese. I can’t wait to go back and have it again! All of the servers were super nice and attentive. They all smiled at us and kept a look out for us, not just the server that was assigned to us. Great place! My only comment for improvement are the floors. They have a treatment that make the floors somewhat slippery for non-rubber-soled shoes.
