Crafted the Art of the Taco Mebane

10/10 no room to improve anywhere. Amazing hot fresh hand made food, tasty house made sauces, hot crispy fries, hot fresh made chips, great queso, tacos are fresh and flavorful, friendly attentive staff, cold beer, clean environment, great atmosphere. This place is an absolute gem. Coming from a person who has incredibly high standards for myself and my business. I would never say I am above a 9 because I believe there is always room to improve. This place is a solid 10. Everything was spot on. I live 90 minutes away and I will certainly be back regularly!

First time at this restaurant and it was fantastic! Our party of 4 all said their entrees were delicious! I had the One & Only smashburger with pimento cheese. I can’t wait to go back and have it again! All of the servers were super nice and attentive. They all smiled at us and kept a look out for us, not just the server that was assigned to us. Great place! My only comment for improvement are the floors. They have a treatment that make the floors somewhat slippery for non-rubber-soled shoes.

Had Smash burgers , whod've thunk a taco place had the best Smash Burgers hands down!! Trust me get the Burgers!! Cant rate the taco's but I doubt they arent delish as well!!

Read the reviews, and spoke to locals who indicated the burgers were great, Taco's hit or miss. Since it was Taco Tuesday, check out the traditional street tacos for $2 ea., and $6 house margarita, also ordered baja's. Started with the stuffed avacado, that was very good. The streets, for the price were good. The Baja's (shrimp and fish) were fine, the magaritas were pretty good, but the cilantro/lime rice had neither cilantro nor lime to be found. However, must note, the service was excellent! Will visit again and try a burger.

We went here for a family birthday lunch and were less than impressed 😕 we’ve tried their sister restaurant in Greensboro and loved it but unfortunately the Mebane location fell short of our expectations. The entrees were very bland, especially considering they’re known for their tacos. My servers were great and the food came out on time, just not super tasty. Willing to come back and try again.

Came here to for the Taco Tuesday special ($2 traditional tacos, $6 margaritas) and absolutely LOVED the food here. Everything taste freshly prepared, and has a ton of flavor. I ended up having 6 different tacos (2 traditional, one chicken, one chorizo) and then the Big Truck, Fixie, and 2 others I don't recall the name of (one had tandoori chicken, the other fried chicken and spicy ranch). The service here was also phenomenal! Very friendly and they helped answer some question I had about the menu!

When I am back out that way, I will be making a stop there for dinner/lunch!

The shrimp tacos were extremely over seasoned and the double corn tortilla was a definite "no". The presentation was very nice. I believe less season would've made them great as the shrimp were grilled perfectly.

The salsa....... tastes like crushed tomatoes.... if they took some of the seasoning from the shrimp and added it to the salsa, I think that would balance things out a bit.

The service was great so that made up for the over-seasoned/under-seasoned food. 3.5

Very cute! Delicious cumin salt rim on the marg. We had the vegan beef and vegan fried chicken traditional tacos and they were great. Chips and salsa were as well. Everything was so fresh and awesome. Will definitely be back!

Not sure if they got a new chef or not but they changed the way they do their burgers. They smash them now and have them on a terrible bun. They’re over seasoned. We’ve been going there for a year and not happy with the new burgers.

Great food, great staff, awesome atmosphere #safespace, plenty of options for non meat eaters and those with allergies. Must try this place if you haven’t .
