Filament is the best coffee shop I have ever been to! Not only is their coffee top notch, they are always extremely friendly, helpful, and there is a cute, reasonably priced gift section. I will say the interior can get a bit cramped, but it is beautifully decorated and there is a variety of seating arrangements available. If you go, make sure to try something with the filament spice! My favorite is the pumpkin filament in the fall (and I'm usually not a big pumpkin spice fan)... takes just like a more spice-based pumpkin pie. None of the drinks taste fake or too sugary (probably because they make their own syrup). I cannot recommend highly enough!

The espresso tasted slightly extracted, so definitely not as smooth as I would like, but it was still good. Initially, I stopped in to check out the selection of gifts sold at Filament Coffee + Tea. The selection of items up front are curated well. While picking up a gift for yourself or someone else, try the lavender lemonade. The lemonade was an unexpected combo of flavors and was refreshing on a walk through downtown Mebane.

Absolutely delicious. They take their espresso seriously. Well calibrated machine and delicious espresso shot pull, oat milk was brother well and the perfect temperature. The little shop in the front is adorable and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. Will definitely be back.

First time I visited I asked for a mocha breve with extra chocolate. It was bland and watery. I didn’t taste any chocolate notes at all. The second time I visited I asked for a mocha breve with 8 pumps of chocolate. Again, it was bland and watery without any chocolate flavor.The muffin was somewhat bland and eggy.

This place is almost cute. It's prohibitively bright which takes away from the ambiance. Think surgical room bright. I've been here twice and it's been busy both times but the service is very slow and I've never seen the baristas smile once. Pic of my "iced" Americano.

Good coffee. Atmosphere was a little "close" for me. I prefer more tables to sofas with a little more space in between but overall a great coffee spot. If you park in the gravel lot behind the shop, parking is always easy-if you don't mind a few stairs to the back door.
Love this place! From the small gift shop when you walk in, to the signature craft lattes and house made pastry's, and ending with the friendly faces making you feel like family! Always come here whenever I need to do some work, read a book or just want a coffee!

We were shopping in the area and needed a pick-me-up. The staff was welcoming. It is a beautiful coffee shop. Sadly, the coffee I had wasn't great. I had their filament latte. The coffee was water downed and I couldn't taste the spices such as the clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
