This is a wonderful BarBQ restaurant that offers up a few surprises. The Broasted chicken is lightly breaded without a ton of salt or grease. The hushpuppies are excellent and the menu has shrimp and flounder as well as BarBQ, ribs and combo plates. Very clean inside and a children's menu offering more than chicken tenders. Give them a try to dine in or take out!

There is no way the ribs are cooked in a wood pit. There was no smoke flavor. Tasted like they were cooked in an oven, then slathered with BBQ sauce.

We have seen the billboard for months now and my husband thought the BBQ looked good so we went and brought a family member with us to try the BBQ sandwiches.
We each had a sandwich, a drink and one of us ordered fries. The bill was over $29! That's ridiculous!
The BBQ was not good to me at all (I gave my husband more than 1/2 my sandwich because it was just bad to me.) and all 3 of us said we won't be returning again.

I normally don't eat BBQ, but that chopped BBQ was the best I've ever had. Honestly, it didn't even need sauce, even though the house made sauce was also great. The broasted chicken was also really good, even if the skin was a little tough and the chicken a tad dry. Easily my favorite part was the homemade apple turnover. So gooey and warm after a long day.

One of my favorite BBQ places. Had the combo platter with pulled pork, Brunswick stee and fried chicken with onion rings. All great. For a BBQ place they do a great job with fried chicken.

Chopped BBQ plate had very tasty BBQ with and without the thick, house BBQ sauce. Neither my wife nor I liked the cole slaw. Nice big onion rings. (I prefer pancake batter-cooked ones however.😎👍) Hush puppies were pretty good. Overall, pretty good. Establishment has won many awards for their food. Been in business since 1949.

Stopped in today for a quick lunch a soon as they opened. Of all the BBQ experiences I have had, this was the worst by far. The Chicken was flash refried from the night before, it was greasy and horrible, it was burnt and uneatable. The pulled pork was tasteless and Microwaved probably from the day before also. The fries were cold and dead in the window. The only thing I could stomach was the Coleslaw, but how hard is it to open a prepackage and serve. It is definitely not home made in any way. This is the worst use of $20 ever. Not even fit for the Dogs ate home. If you are thinking about a quick lunch, don't stop here
I had to wait 10 mins for a biscuit. Cashier was very rude to everyone she waited on, shouldn't be allowed to work in customer service

Ordered ribs, should have known if I don’t see nor smell smoke from a smoker. The Bbq was going to be trash and it was. I was highly disappointed to receive some ribs that I could have made at home in the oven. The ribs were tough. They didn’t fall off the bone. I also ordered okra which was a 75 cent up charge. That was a disappointment as well. There was not a pinch 🤏 of salt!!!! High disgusting. I guess the ranch dressing was supposed to compensate for the lack of taste. 2/10 will not recommend!!!!
