Great little diner for a quick hot dog or hamburger. Super friendly staff! The hot dogs are very good. Like someone from a prior review said, very good "construction". Just the right amount of everything. Not one of those "sloppy dogs!! My wife had the Catfish sandwich. She said it was "ok". The diner reminds of the 70's and 80's style. Prices are average.

I tried jimmys hotdogs on my birthday. I wanted a good burger from a small place always the best but the only problem was it had too much mustard even my friends hot dog had it to much. That's all we can taste other than that it was delicious. Fries was great and the banana pudding!

We stopped on our way thru because we wanted a good hotdog! We spent $40 on hotdogs, fries, and banana pudding the hotdogs had mustard, chili, and slaw. The chili had no flavor except hamburger and was super greasy, the slaw had purple cabbage and carrots and everyone in the world knows you don't put that in southern slaw for hotdogs. The buns were hard as a rock and we didn't find this out until we were back on the highway so we ended up eating the hotdog out of the bun. There's a jimmys hotdog in Durham where we're from and they have great hotdogs! Maybe y'all need to contact them for their recipe. The banana pudding was terrible! It didn't have any vanilla wafers at all and was that cheap yellow vanilla pudding. Will not stop there ever again!!

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat. I ordered simple. Hot dog all the way, cheeseburger all the way with an order of fries along with a drink. Within 2 mins, I had my food. Everything was on point and hot. Very good food. I was still hungry so I ordered a chuckwagon sammich. It was awesome as well. I’ve been goin to Zacks Hot Dogs since I was a little boy which I’ve always enjoyed up to recently. Since they have been bought out (I know the new owner) they have steadily went down hill. In all aspects. Therefore, I’ve drove the extra time to come here. It’s well worth the drive and I have to say, I’ll continue to come here. The owner seems to be a great man to boot.
The service and food were good. The chili is a bit different, but it really grew on me! Has a small town diner charm to it. Banan pudding looked homemade and delicious, but I personally did not get it (only bc I felt I wouldnt have room.) Would recommend if you want a unique experience and support a local small business! They are hotdog architects.The bun ?….. perfect bread proportion steamed to perfection. The bun should be a condiment to the weiner. Too big of a bun and it throws off the bite.Slaw ? a light, crunchy, and tasty slaw. It’s not piled on, making it seem like you’re eating a hotdog slaw.Chili ? chilis can be super watery. They make the bun soggy and drop all in your beard. Jimmy’s has the perfect chili for hotdogs.Onions ? nothing special. It’s a white onion. BUT! They sprinkle it about the weiner adding to the perfect portions of other condiments so your partner will still kiss you after you’ve sucked down half a dozen hotdogs.THE HOTDOG ?? bun size hotdog, not over cooked or boiled. Just a delicious piece of wonderful meat compilations.Oh yeah. Mustard. I didn’t have one drop of mustard leak out. That’s amazing.I don’t know who came up with the construction of this hot dog, but whomever they are deserves recognition. They nailed it.
