Every time we visit Mebane we stop here. One scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone is all I need. Service is excellent every time. It’s small so not a ton of seating so we like to go outside and sit on the wall. If you want ice cream you should definitely stop here.

This is a very nice ice cream shop. The milkshakes are the best around. The young lady who took my order and made the shake was very nice, friendly and efficient.Parking: Mebane can be all but empty at times and at other times, there are no parking spaces within a block or two of the ice cream shop. The shop is on a one-way street that is almost always crowded.

We were visiting downtown Mebane and exploring the local shops and were looking for something sweet as we enjoyed the beautiful afternoon. My wife looked to our Yelp bookmarks and found we were very close to Muffins so we decided to stop in. We started to explore the flavor options while the woman behind the counter helped another customer. I didn't want any ice cream but the rest of our party did and they all quickly decided to sample the banana pudding ice cream. They each loved it and all decided to order one scoop each on the freshly made waffle cones that were literally being made as we were there. Muffins features local ice cream by Maple View Farm in Hillsborough and it is delicious. Absolutely worth stopping at if visiting or driving by Mebane. Yum!

This ice cream place is amazing! We walk into the place, and it smells great inside. We walk up and ask for ice cream, and there’s no artificial flavors or colorings! But their mint chip tasted the same somehow, and this was the best banana ice cream I have ever had! Their service is also really excellent! 5 stars, would DEFINITELY recommend.

This is the sweetest little ice cream shop with lovely history!The owner Elizabeth makes the waffle cones in-house and they are to die for! They even have a pup Sunday for your pet.I love that she has a dairy-free option, and she can work around most of your dietary restrictions.There is a nice area to eat inside, and a restroom.

They serve the best ice cream in Alamance County!! Prices are great and have many different flavors for everyone to choose from. My favorite is their Carolina Crunch, on a waffle cone. I am sure I am not alone!Kid-friendliness: They have sprinkles and many other candy toppings my kids like on their ice cream.

Not a lot of selection but what we had was good. I tried something I kind of forgot, but it had peanut butter chocolate.

This place seemed to be just what we were looking for and we ordered a couple of one-scoop cones and sat outside and watched the world roll by as we ate them.
