Ya know, Papa Johns Pizza at one time was pretty good. And, with any chain restaurant, every franchise is different. The PJ's in Mebane was staffed with a bunch of youngsters, "not" dedicated to putting out the best product. I know, I know, everyplace has staffing issues these days, ever since Covid raised it's ugly head. But, wherever you find a group of young men together, trouble follows. The first issue is that I ordered a "thin crust" pizza and received a "traditional" crust. Big difference. I ordered double bacon and Canadian bacon. The toppings were tossed haphazardly onto the center of the pizza, not sort of (placed) in a uniform manner. There was bare crust all the way around on at least 1/3 of the pizza, no toppings at all. The sauce was minimal and thin throughout. The crust was undercooked. I also ordered a side of the jalapeno poppers. Lord, what a boring offering. There was no rhyme or reason on how this thing was put together. One bit, all you get is the pepper, nothing else. Next came the cinnamon pull apart. I have no idea if this was constructed in a factory setting and shipped frozen to local or if it was made on the spot. I suspect it came in frozen on a truck. This was terribly put together as well. The topping was without uniformity, there was little or no cinnamon crumbles on at least half of the dessert and none between the chunks of bread. Overall, this side was terrible. Of course, it is always my own fault when I go somewhere and pick up carry out food as opposed to making it in my own kitchen. However, for a bill of over $30.00 not including a tip, I expected something a bit more appetizing and satisfying. Upon walking into the Mebane NC Papa Johns, and seeing the staff, I expected the worse. That's exactly what I recieved!

I ordered a pizza about 2 weeks ago from this location and when I walked in absolutely none of the workers were wearing gloves when making the pizzas. I don’t know if it’s just me, but that makes me scared to even eat the pizza. Would not recommend this location for sanitation reasons.

I was super hungry after not eating because i forgot to back snacks on a big trip to Atlanta and I got a large cheese (because I am Muslim) and it had pepperoni on it so I had to go to the subway to get a meatball sub

Pizza delivery was on time but pizza was made wrong. Also the garlic sauce is not like it was .. it was nicer before. lastly, thin crust was like cardboard. Disappointed!!

Horrible location. Pizza is either burnt/wrong/ or just plain bad. Had other locations do way better. Avoid this one. Gave them the benefit of the doubt too many times.

Pepperoni tasted off to me and my family. Called and let manager know he told me they check dates so I guess that's as far as it went.bought 2 threw one away10/19/24.and 2 weeks prior tasted fine with no complaints
