Their Caesar salad with cornbread croutons is tops... I also love their andouille gumbo, shrimp and grits, well, just about everything I have ever had there. It's Southern comfort food at its finest.

Very nice place. Kool decor. I loved the fried chicken. Great crust. They must have some big chicken here North Carolina because I couldn't eat all of it. The waitress was very pleasant and fun and entertaining, I also loved the Gumbo soup. He hear the chef is from New Orleans. Maybe that's why is was sooo good.

Love this restaurant. Has an independent feel (not a chain restaurant). Good customer service, nice environment and ambiance. Food is good too. Just wish they didn't take the cider braised pork off the menu. That was the best meal ever.

I periodically pass through Mebane and used to love this place. The menu is basically the same, however the ingredients and the way the dishes are prepared are now lacking the same quality and taste as before. I've been back twice since the menu changed hoping that the first experience was just an off day, this now seems to be the norm.

The restaurant is beautiful. Our waitress was super friendly, but messed up our order a couple of times...we ordered oysters as appetizer, they never came out, and it took almost an hour to get our food!! The pork chop was a nice size, had good flavor but could have used a bit more seasoning...too bland. The fried chicken must have been over-marinated because the texture was off....almost powdery. The dirty rice was watery and overcooked. The red fish was the best entree at our table, but it came out cold. The chef was not very accommodating either...

Authentic and friendly service. Amazing, unique blackened catfish! They seated our party of 7 with just a few minutes notice and treated us like royalty.

Nice restaurant. Very limited menu, though, and a little pricey for what you get. Service was a little slow the night we went, and they weren't incredibly busy. But the food is very good, and it's a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be going back in the future. Great place for a "date night."

It has been an hour and 46 minutes and our food order just arrived and just went back because it was under cooked. We were told because they are trying something new for New Years Eve but this was completely unacceptable. We left after almost 2 hours with no food. We had drinks but was not comped anything totally disappointing and will not go back but will be happy to tell ppl about my experience.

We met here as a suggestion by out of town friends to have lunch. What a great surprise.....we had the shrimp creole, Jambalaya, chicken salad and shrimp& grits. Thanks guys for a great lunch !! Worth a visit for sure.
