On Friday August 22, 2025 at 1:30 pm. There was only me and my husband and 1 other lady in the restaurant. THE COOK was very nasty ; First encounter with the cook me asking hey how are you doing, COOK doesn’t say anything back. Second encounter told COOK everything was good, he did a good job. He still didn’t say anything back so I proceeded to say it louder. THE COOK responded back it must not of been to dam good because I didn’t cook it. Our waitress apologized later after he went to the back and said sometimes he can have an attitude. Our waitress was awesome the whole time but the cook was nasty. I am a native to Mebane and have never encountered such rudeness in my town so apparently he’s not from here. If you don’t like dealing with the public or your a transplant and don’t like it here. Go back to where your miserable life was and not work with the public.

Ordered my eggs over light, first time they came overcooked with broken yolks. Sent them back. The second time wasn't any better, sigh. It's a shame since the prices have gone up. Too bad the quality has hasn't.

Went with the lunch suggestion and it was a good idea. My husband wanted waffles so we went. He enjoyed them.

Went there on my way home from Raleigh and it was a nice little place. Only problem had was the waitress seem a tad bit moody but i didn’t mind since i know how working late nights feel.

Greatest Waffle House in the country. Sang happy birthday to our niece. Great service and food and atmosphere. Not an Olive Garden, Applebees, Chilis, or the like that holds a candle to Michelle and crew at the Mebane Waffle House. Hell I might go back for my birthday.
