“Found inside the Citgo gas Station. The staff greeted me right away and were so friendly! Everyone had masks on, which I greatly appreciate during this time of the pandemic.I had some fried chicken and a brownie, my friend had fried catfish - we ate, and ate fast -everything was delicious!!!! The delicious batter on the fried chicken was fantastic and only with a little bit of spice to it, as I would expect from a place in North Carolina!I am not a fan of fish, but my friend got a few pieces of fried catfish, fresh and hot, and also loved it.Finally, I requested a brownie without any frosting or sauce on it. Clearly made from scratch, it was delicious!!I do regret that I didn't take photos . The grease was appropriately hot which cooked the food perfectly without making the food itself greasy.“

“My wife and I usually get a Reuben with Thousand Island instead of deli mustard. They are crispy, hot , meaty and juicy every time. The Cuban is a delicious hot sandwich. Plenty of meats and super delicious. The Italian sub and Italian panini are also well made sandwiches. The meats, cheeses and toppings have always been fresh. They staff are super busy yet friendly and helpful if you have questions about what items are on a sandwich you are interested in trying. Would be super if they offered up some french fries but a bag of chips does the trick 😁. We enjoyed the macaroni salad over the potato salad on our last visit. We were heading to OBX for the afternoon and wanted a cheap delicious meal. We were not disappointed. We try to get here once a week or so depending on our schedules.“
