I’m honestly hesitant to post this review because I’m afraid my secret little waffle oasis is about to explode in popularity and I’ll end up standing in a line that wraps around the county. But… it deserves to thrive, so here we are.
I found this place totally by accident while planning a bike ride and looking for a halfway point to refuel. It’s out in the middle of nowhere, so I wasn’t expecting much—maybe a decent cup of coffee and a place to stretch my legs. Instead, I walked into waffle heaven.
These are real Liege waffles—the scrumptious kind with pearl sugar baked into them so they’re perfectly caramelized and chewy. And then they’ve done something downright diabolical: they turned them into breakfast sandwiches.
Between two glorious waffles was a heroic stack of bacon, cheese, egg, and pesto. A combination so good it should probably come with a warning label. And because I was already committed to the experience, I added the sweet potato waffle fries—drizzled with syrup like they were sent straight from the afterlife.
Absolutely out of this world.
The staff was friendly, funny, and genuinely welcoming. I even met Reed—the owner/operator—and chatted with him for a bit. He took me behind the scenes to show the waffle irons and explain how they make the dough. You don’t usually get that kind of passion and hospitality in a quick breakfast stop.
All around, a fantastic, unexpected, memorable experience.
Go support this place. Just… don’t blame me when there’s a line.

I have been coming here regularly for over a year now. I have tried many things on the menu and have never had anything that was not good. Most things I have tried have been very good or excellent! The staff is friendly and it’s always clean. I’ll keep coming back for more!

I Stopped at Waffle Station while on a road trip with my child. We were excited to try something new and support a local spot. The cashier at the front was very sweet and helpful, great first impression!
We ordered the Spicy Chicken Waffle and Kids Waffle Meal. The waffles were very sweet but also tasted stale. Still, after hours of driving, we were hungry and ate anyway. I also ordered a Mocha Latte and the “Let’s Be Different” Latte (ginger, turmeric, honey, espresso, milk). Unfortunately, both drinks were overly sweet and bitter at the same time. No distinct flavors, just sugary, burnt-tasting coffee. And this is coming from someone who drinks both herbal teas and black coffee regularly.
I went back to the counter to kindly ask if I could exchange the drinks. A different cashier helped me, but with a noticeably rude and defensive attitude. She kept interrupting, told me I wouldn’t like any of their other drinks either, and was overall very dismissive. When I asked about a refund (after only 1–2 sips), she refused, then reluctantly agreed to an exchange but made the entire process uncomfortable. I was respectful and calm throughout, but left feeling completely unappreciated and disrespected.
I always try to support family-owned businesses, and if the food isn’t perfect but I’m treated well, I’m happy to leave a positive review. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. For the price, the food and drinks didn’t deliver, and the customer service was even worse. Honestly, I should’ve gone to Waffle House up the street where I know I would’ve been appreciated.

Home made Belgian waffles. We brought our company and their kiddos. Kids had fun with the small tractor and dump truck toys. The ring games were fun for adults and children. Waffles were a bit too heavy and thick. I'm not a fan and the kids wouldn't eat there waffles even though they were excited to go because they love Belgian waffles.....but not these. Not sure if we'll be back. Our first visit was great. Don't know what happened this time.

Like the other reviews, you just can’t say enough positive things about this place. Family owned and run with pride! Besides the amazing food, the staff makes this place a one in a million. Also LOVE the cute outdoor area, absolutely beautiful. Covered and fanned for the summer months so it stays cool, and warm in the winter because they put out heaters. Wonderful place for your kids to enjoy year round playing while you relax with a warm Heaven sent waffle and specialty coffee. Can’t believe this place is in our own little town! Bravo!!!

Delicious food and drink options for any time of the day or year. The atmosphere is very laid back and they’re amazing at accommodating towards any type of weather. They also provide a play area for kids to play together or independently with some toys, as well as table games while you wait for your food. They also play popular songs from different decades so there’s always something for everyone.
